^ if you're making the comparison of the US to the EU, then yes, that's right.

The biggest mistake was leaving the decision to the people. We have democratically elected people to decide what's best for the country, whose jobs it is to actually understand the full scale of these matters. None of us ordinary citizens can begin to understand the financial implications of this decision, hell, only a handful of people in the world even know; so leaving this decision up to any of

us was ridiculous.

I think Scotland and N. Ireland should become independent, there's nothing in it for them in remaining part of the UK now. I also think London should become independent, considering we voted overwhelmingly (~75%) for remain, unlike everyone else in England and Wales. And also fuck the rest of the UK.
