Wouldn't you need to associate the image with the vote selection instead of the map file itself? E.g., image of liferun being a part of the vote system instead of the map file's thumbnail. Not sure how well I explained that cuz I don't know cod mod jargon

You load a image, not the map file( which gets loaded via a .ff file type, and i can't choose what .ff files get loaded). The reason it works only for the current map being played is because them kind of assets are in the map's .ff files, not the stock ff files and the map ff files only get loaded when the server is running the map.
