  1. You do realize ratzee didn't create this map? It was a port from CS:Source deathrun. He does not need to ask ratzee if he can remake a map that ratzee also remade m8.

  7. As zack said it's pointless to ask the mapper. It is released, publicly. I'm not changing credits, i'm improving their traps for our server. We do this already when it comes to secrets/shortcuts or map related bugs. EDIT: And yes i'll likely edit your maps in the future. Deal with it.
  8. I'm not worried about getting ideas on how to improve traps, it was more about which map to start with. Anyway most people said indipyramid so i'll start with that. Then i'll move to the top of the list below and move downward.   16. I got downvoted for expressing agreement with an opinion. lawl Every map IS boring. Especially after the 100th or so playthrough. No mapper ever thought of the longevity of their maps. All of their traps have one action and one action only, which become predictable even for someone new to the map. Most maps have the same shitty endroom system or even similar traps. Anyone who has put time into the mod has to find new ways to find enjoyment out of it because it simply doesn't give you enough. There's no replay-ability here. That's the problem. In the past we had people making maps every week to fix that, now maps are few and far in between. Argue with me if you don't agree with me. But the problem is, you know i'm right. The only maps I can have an ounce of fun in are the challenging ones. Wickedv2, illusion, easy, etc. Really hard maps that challenge you to complete them should be part of the rotation. I don't mind if there are easy/med difficulty maps in the mix, I just want the challenging ones. Anti helped me realize that last night.

  23. SAME THEME AS CHERRY BECAUSE WHAT? IT HAS RED TEXTURES? :wat: Lights aren't final and I spent all of 20-30 mins on them. In my to-do list there is add more FX to map so I was already planning on it. QueNNch i'd like to know what you are judging this off of. I seriously don't see the resemblance to cherry though. The only similarities (which are scarce): Both maps are enclosed. Both maps have red, white, and black textures being used. Both maps are made by me. Other than that the maps are vastly different. This map is based on the highrise map idea in that traps are activated on one specific area where the jumpers are stuck at. Cherry on the other hand has a path and traps along the path. Cherry is also based on the fact that the activator flies around in a cherry. In this map the activator is in his own area where he has access to all trap triggers. Then you are basically saying cherry has the same theme as unreal, because they use similar textures.
