Hey guys, I'm 16, my real name is Tommy and online I call myself Bumba. If you want to know the story on why I call myself Bumba then here it is. Back like 5 years ago on the xbox 360 I had a friend who always used to shout BUMBACLAT! when he got killed or something. So I thought it was funny and later changed my name to something with BUMBACLAT in it, I forgot the full name though. Then when I got to PC I shortened it down to Bumba because I think it looks better. If you search for definitions of Bumba you will get a lot of unusual things and there is also this kids TV show named after it which is really weird. When I came to PC I played gmod deathrun for like 2 weeks then got cod4. So far I've been playing deathrun for about 1.5 years and recently came back on to it because I stopped playing cod4 for a short period of time. When I came back it seemed my only choice of good servers were iceops and raid. But I liked raid better so I have continued to play that. I have made the map mp_deathrun_gold which I really don't like. And I'm currently making another map which I have nearly finished. Well the max resolution I can pick on cod4 is 1440x900. Even if there was a way to force 1920x1080 I'm pretty sure it would mess up badly.

@stefan when dr first came out people activated till scumbag braxi added freerun, server owners needs to get rid of freerun to stop people giving it out.

Unfortunately Lossy, server owners do what the players want, which in most cases now, they want freerun. So unfortunately, server owners are too scared to lose popularity.
Great idea: Spend a day editing the DR mod and rename it freerun and get all the freerun losers playing that mod instead of destroying the aim of DEATHRUN. It would be a great experiment. I bet they would still be playing Deathrun. It's so annoying.

The only maps on this list that are fit for the rotation are, in my opinion. mp_madhouse mp_dark_v2 mp_islands mp_oerba mp_to_the_moon All the others are meh and should only be added to the server only, and not the rotation.

Here's a few key things if it helps. The first round of any map, mike gets picked randomly If mike kills all the players, the first player he kills gets picked as mike next round. If mike gets killed by the last player alive he is mike again next round. None of the players are able to knife or shoot, when the last player is alive he is able to knife. Mike is able to knife the whole time. Old school That's all the key points I an think of at the moment. But of course you could watch a video like you said. Also people can say things that I missed.

Just think of it as deathrun with no guns, no traps and on stock maps. The players have to run around and try and avoid mike knifing them. The person who gets knifed first is mike next round.

I used to play this on xbox all the time and it was like the most fun thing I ever played on cod4. But yeah if this mod was to be made it wouldn't have to be over edited like you said, a simple mod with default menus would be fine. There wouldn't have to be any extra unlocks or anything. Just how it would be played like on console but with added things to stop people shooting mike and all the annoying things that used to happen that would ruin the game. And about spots, I don't think many spots should be patched because that's what it's all about to be honest. +1 I would play this.
