Back in the day, I received Silver 1 as my first rank. Almost entirely because I was unaware of any South African CS Scene (if not CoD4 then why should there be CS logic) and I played every game with 300 ping. But I can guarantee I was better than any MG+ of today. It's just how it is now sadly :/

Well, ever since they changed the ranking system it has been way easier to gain ranks. I've seen Globals that MG2's could beat for instance. But it's just as Darmuh stated: "everyone starts somewhere".  I also started at GN2. There is no problem with that rank at all.

I started at Silver 2 and now I'm mg2. Even MG is easy but of course there are hackers that they need to use a smart aim lock system hack or any other smart system hack that they use. How higher the rank the more hackers... I would say from Silver Elite and to Gn4 is everything legit, 95% of the time.
