Moving Texture?

So, with a new project I am working on, I want to have a small tube of fire that is constantly moving. There is one of two ways that I could do this(I think). I could make a looping that always makes it move, but I was thinking, is it possible to make a moving texture? Pretty much like on a moving gun, but on a texture that can be placed down in radiant.

 

If it isn't possible, I can just use a forever looping script to make it move forever. Atm I will just try to mess around with asset manager to see if i can find out if something like that is possible.

Sorry you need to be more clear, I can't understand what you are trying to achieve...

 

1. tube(radiant) + fire(effect)

2. tube(texture) + fire(texture)

3. gun texture??

it is possible but i think you need to create a custom techset in order to use the texture scroll effect in world materials. cant gib u a working techset atm since im 250km away from home :kingdave:

you could also do this with fx if yu not 2 nub

by the way lossy, didnt i give you the distortion and objective glow techsets for models? are they used in deathrun guns? :angryarnold:
