How to use the forums

Hey guys, iMtroll here. (I am using Triton's account to write this as the tutorial was originally written by Triton and he deserves the +rep for it, not me, I'm just brushing it up and adding a few things).

Welcome to Raid, a community for all gamers. You wanted showing round eh, well lets start with the servers

Servers
Raid has 6 Call of Duty 4 Servers: Deathrun | Combined Operations | Fun Server | Codjumper | Zombies | Promod

We also have a couple other MISC servers (Gmod, CSGO etc, but they are not our primary focus, kind of sideprojects in a sense)
NOT FORGETTING: Teamspeak, if you ever have time connect to the teamspeak and trust me you will have a good time :')

Forums
Raid has a completely unique forums, even with a custom made theme from
Let's start with the basics :)


Home: Takes you to the homepage of raid, so you can have a quick glance over the announcements made by the community managers

Forums: Takes you here, to the magical forums :'). On the forums, you can post about all kinds of stuff in different categories, just please don't spam it :)

Servers: Takes you to the servers page, here you can find our different servers and connect/view them if need be.

Tickets system: This is where you can submit a ticket if you suspect someone is hacking on the servers and then the admins will glance over it and decide on the appropriate punishment. The ticket system is also used for reporting anything which may need solving, such as a website issue or an admin abusing their powers, but please submit tickets in the right section.

Admins: Shows all of raid's admins as well as their steam ID's and xfire logins.

About & Policy: How we came around, and what our policy's are.

Shoutbox: This is where you can start, continue, or join in with a conversation involving anyone who would be looking at shoutbox at the time.

And lastly. Private messages: i think you should already know what this is, however if you don't it is where you message anyone on the forums, if you have any queries etc, and need a question answered for example

How to use the forums

Okay so now you know what everything is, it's time to learn how to be involved and join in with the forum fun!

As you can see, we have many different categories to view and read what other members have written, however, we want you to be involved! To use the forums, click on a category that may interest you, and then find a topic inside of this category which also interests you.

I have chosen the introduction topic for @Space. To reply to this topic, scroll down to the bottom, you should see a box.

All of these symbols have a purpose, and the more you experiment with this box the more features you will find. It has all of the features you will need such as bold, underline, strike through, italic, and more. It also supports BB code. You will be using this box to reply to topics, it's pretty simple. Once you're done click "Post Reply" and you're done.

Creating a topic is done the same way, except when you choose a category, there is a button that will say post new topic, this is where you can create new things to talk about, or "topics".

But please remember the rules, or you'll be put under moderation.
