i have downloaded windows 8.1 pro [86x] from here

and i have USB Flash [3.70 GB] thourght its 4 damn written on it

i want to make the USB as a windows 8.1 instalation tool

any help Very Very Very Very appreciated

 

 

PS: is windows 8.1 pro better than windows 7 ultimate [both 32 bit]

as for gaming?

May I ask why you're not interested in w10? It's optimized.

To be honest, most latest windows (7, 8, 8.1 & 10) are basically the same for gaming, however since Windows 10 is a free update, then you should really opt for that.

try this, it's a clean install of windows 10, and if you need too, you can backup any important files on a usb, or just backup the files with the option it gives you.

i have windows 7 ultimate 32 bit

the porplem is that idiot media creation tool is preventing me for 30 MB missing

i bought a USB as 4 GB it is 3.70 GB

so i need a way to make the ISO file bootable from the USB without that idiot tool

If you want to install windows via your USB, you can do it via the BIOS.

Also make your USB bootable, use the program Rufus for that https://rufus.akeo.ie/ also be sure that the windows installation is a .ISO file.

 

And yes the USB needs to be empty for it and needs a minimum amount of space for the USB of course.

Why not just go buy a new usb? They're cheap for a 2.0.

Anyways, a iso file is always lower the size of it, because it's packed in but if it's not compressed (so unpacked) then it's of course higher.

 

Also when you want to upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1 you need a legit Windows version and if you have a legit version of it, you need to install all updates and drivers.
