Controls:

  • W - Up
  • A - Left
  • D - Right

 

Changes in v0.4:

  • 3 levels
  • more complex maps
  • fixed mouse pointer
  • resizable screen

Credits:

  • SliZe for fars and annoying chiptune

 

Requirements:

  • CPU @ 1Ghz should be enough
  • 256MB RAM is probably more than enough
  • GeForce 6200 or better (any GPU that supports OpenGL 2.0 or newer)
  • Linux needs OpenAL packages: libalut0, libopenal1 (terminal: sudo apt-get install libalut0 libopenal1)
  • Windows requires installing OpenAL ( http://braxi.boo.pl/download/oalinst.exe )

Windows Troubleshooting:


1) IF GAME CRASHES AT STARTUP
 
Make sure you have "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86)"
installed, you can get it from: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555
 
 
 
2) IF SOUND FAILS TO INITIALIZE (and causes game to crash at startup, too)
 
Make sure you have "OpenAL" installed, if it's not then run oalinst.exe
 
 
 
3) If RENDERER FAILS TO INITIALIZE (and causes game to crash at startup)
 
Make sure your GPU suports OpenGL 2.0.
 
 
 
4) OMFG IT STILL DOESN'T WORK
 
Disassemble your PC, clean it from dust, treat your hardware nicely and get rid of software.

Has my love of bears, pipes, colors, farting, controls, gameplay, w a s d, and scores

10/10

Anyways, feels pretty responsive

Although the concept has been done before (first person) it's still fairly unique

Really like the design of the levels

Only real complaint is sound, but that's just my opinion

Good job :>

i want anti aliasing for this :3  too many visible pixelated models :dave:

 

I like smooth, curved edges :D

  • skybox
  • much more improved sound system CTRL+C/V'd from unkknow/pragma (+ soundaliases)
  • latest version works on windows
  • userconfig.cfg to mess with binds and cvars
  • it can load pre made .BSP maps :dave:
  • lots of fixes and code cleanups here and there
  • new tool: PakVerter (to build game data packages with all assets, should be fine for modders)
  • added start parameter "+mod <name>" to load custom paks from "/mods/<name>"
  • new sound channel "SNDC_MENU"
  • new func: CSoundSystem::StopChannel( <(int) channel> ) to stop all sounds of chosen channel (that fixes a bug where more than one "menu" music is played in certain situations)

 

planned:

  • custom GTK Radiant version
