New CoD Client "CoD4X Client Pre-alpha"

Hello guys, there finally some good news for the cod4 community, Iceops|Ninja, the guy that made the CoD4X/1.7a server build that allowed you to have coloured names, non-colliding players, lots of fixed bugs and more has release a pre-alpha cod4 client.

Best part about it, is that it helps protect you from CDKEY Stealing servers (yay!)

How do you tell if it installed properly? I did what it said and CoD4 runs fine, I'm just not sure if the update applied.

Add this to the end of your cod4 shortcut target +sysconsole - if a console loads up it works :P

I thought i came off, The almighty forgets to close cod4 and watches livestreams.

Can someone help me please.

 

1. I found the file "mss32.dll"  

 

2. I renamed that file to "miles32.dll"  

 

3. Dragged the file that i downloaded in to my Cod4 directory.  

 

4. Opened Cod4 and put /iw3mp.exe +sysconsole into console. Nothing happened. Restarted Cod4, nothing happened.

 

I think i did all the steps right.

Well that is no command. You have to edit your cod4 shortcut.

 

The easiest way to tell if it is installed is to type into console: \version

If the response shows a date like yesterday then it is installed.
