And I use after effects cc (cs6 but newer I guess) and one of my interests is video production, so I sent in some of my previous work and they were like, welcome to redbull :)

Basically I go in there every three weeks for a new project. I get paid on however long the project is.

Wow that's actually pretty damn cool. Most people who want a job in video production go through a much longer process including schooling and lots of internships. Nice to see you had a better experience.

I've always found sony vegas simpler to use, but I can see the appeal in after effects.

The type of stuff I'm doing is simple, and I do want to go to a video/filmography school :) and yeah I use after effects due to more options. :D
