Mistakes are mistakes and forgiveness is sometimes not always given

 

It's good that you tried to resolve the issue with him but sometimes that doesn't always work

 

Best to learn from it and move on with hopefully avoiding repeating whatever it was that you may have said/done to him towards others

 

Who knows, perhaps one day he'll be more open to discussion and maybe actually forgive you ;)
