Who is your alltime favorite mapper?

I wouldn't say rycoon made an impact on the mapping community.. He wouldn't share scripts with people and would keep them server side so no-one could see how he done things. He did end up helping people on the forums at a later date, which I wouldn't consider that a big impact.

I can agree with you on that one, however I'm not saying that he made an impact on the community, just many people looked to his maps as an example of what a good map is, regardless of super-cool FX, scripting and whatnot, like ruin2, or towards the glass series. Sure, he may not have been impactful by helping people or teaching them, but his maps still had quite a big impact.

For me I guess it is a mix of the Original Super Mario Map who MR. X made and somehow bananaphone, cause DAMN it was so funny to play on it in the early days of Deathrun.

About Rycoon, ye he is an asshole if it comes to sharing but damn his maps are great :D
