How about you allow the activator to move ocean mines in the way of the jumpers.

You'd have to remove those shitty pegs tho replacing them with a new method for jumpers to get across. Perhaps a few small boats? Other forms of moving floating objects? Use your creativity ;)

I will think about that, tbh need to think how to get the moving mines (and how to get those mines..) and to let explode them at the jumpers path
