Happy Halloween (Early at the point of making this) and hope you all will enjoy it ^^

May or may not be holding contest in this thread for $25 dollar steam card as well near Hallow's eve ;)

Matt was out jogging once again. After purchasing his first home, condo apartment to be exact, has been fairly nervous and felt perhaps jogging will dissolve that feeling. The rent wasn't too bad and he gained enough from his job cleaning up the science labs to balance out costs of food and college payments. He still didn't like the situation he was in though. Matt was forced to move out after an incident with his uncle, who he lived with after the untimely passing of his parents. The initial cause of the disputes occurred when his uncle found out some of his savings (Being held in a jar) were missing. Matt didn't deny it since he knew nobody else comes in the ran down house, so his excuses would be futile. He explained that he needed it to buy a textbook. Actually co-purchased a car with his friend, Duke. In fit of fury, his uncle kicked him out and hasn't yet allowed him back. Finding himself on the streets, Matt headed towards the science labs. While did take longer since he forgot his bike and the car is at his friend's house. Once he reached the labs, used his key that's hidden in the plant pot next to the door. Despite being slightly coated in soil after all the time it has spent in there, was easily read and Matt gained access. Thinking that the labs looked weird with the lights off and no people, he entered. Creating a make-shift bed out of text boos and cloths, surprisingly he quickly feel asleep. As he woke up, realized that he overslept and people were surely on their way. Wasting no time, everything was put back neatly. As preparing to exit out back door, heard the front lab's door open. "Hey, what are you doing here so early Matt?", asked the lead scientist on the current project. Matt swiftly responded with, "I'm going to be busy today, so thought would come in here early and get things out of the way". Matt could see the confused look on the lead scientist's face since Matt cleans up afterwards when things are actually messy, but finally just shrugged it off and went to get some beakers in the storage closet. Thankful that he didn't question it further, Matt left. Although did only take him the duration of his classes to find an apartment which he can afford, felt like he should return and apologize to his uncle. After much contemplating, finally decided to do so after he moved in to his first "home". Classes lasted longer than usually and Matt was eager to check out his new place. Wasn't big, but certainly enough to be comfortable and fit his small amount of personal items. Was feeling nervous regarding how he will apologize to his uncle. Matt switched into sweat pants and simple white shirt, feeling that maybe a jog will help him sort out his mind and emotions. Surprised how dark it has became since he inspected his apartment, Matt ventured down the sidewalk at a quick pace. Forty-five minutes have passed and Matt finally halted to a stop. Breathless, he realized that he has been heading towards his uncle's house. Being so focused on prior events, guessed that he was just subconsciously going towards where he needed to be. Feeling as if he found the correct thing to say to his uncle, he continued on, but walking this time to catch his breath. As he approached, Matt heard faint sirens and minuscule beams of red and blue light emerging from in-between the trees. Greatly confused, he started sprinting towards the ran down house. Police cars and an ambulance finally came into view. Disregarding the police tape surrounding the area, Matt jumped over and rushed onwards. Few nearby officers noticed him and before they could stop him, Matt was up the steps on the porch and then through the doorway. What met his eyes left him in utter shock and horror. His uncle was lying stomach side down. Locking the door behind him to avoid the officers stopping him, Matt slowly made his way towards the body. He quickly noticed that his uncle's body was pale white...and...somehow...slightly deflated? Cautiously, he bent down and touched his uncle's arm. Shocked, Matt noticed his finger kept going into the arm. He quickly pulled his hand back when he finally heard the banging of officers at the locked door. Knowing that he didn't have much time, Matt hustled through the rest of the house trying to find any clue which may explain his uncle's state. With no success, he made his way up to the second floor. As the creaking of the stair case and cracking of the front door echoed through the house, a subtle noise was emitted from behind. Matt turned around and for a slip second, saw a form in front of a broken window. Just as fast as noticed it, it was gone. Carefully, Matt walked over towards the window and looked out. He couldn't make out anything other than police cars. However, as his sight glazed upon the trees, saw two red eyes looking at h-... The locked door was finally caved in and officers started scanning the house for whoever it was that entered. Matt knew he couldn't escape and had no explanation that would help him out for what he has done. "There's someone up here! You, get down now!", said the elderly cop. So, as he was found and forced to the ground with being cuffed, what was that thing was only thought taking place in his mind

You can celebrate it yourself by dressing up like a rejected muppet and scaring children :troll:

Sorry, but Lossy used all funds and future efforts into Thorpe park :troll:

Anyways, as long as no special derps are added again (Such as fourth of July's forum fireworks), then good idea ^^

That was a fabulous short story that I thoroughly enjoyed reading living! As always, accompanied by generous lashings of verbosity... typical Agin :troll:

What exactly do you mean by this statement?

My friend is really into the whole idea of Halloween despite it not being a major event here. He has made a few things already (with much more to come) for his "clients" and which he does every year. Here are a couple examples:

@@Tinman Regarding steam card, involves posting something and it's quality ;)

The next few days have all been a blur. After being arrested, Matt was forced downstairs and promptly into the officer’s car. The ride was short, but with the uncomfortable cuffs binding his hands, made it feel like forever. Matt was surprised that he was focusing on something else instead of the horror he witnessed prior. That feeling only last for a few moments as he was reminded what happened. How could his finger have gone through his uncle’s arm so easily? Even more confusing, why did it keep it’s form? His trail of deep thought was interrupted once the cop pulled him out of the car and pushed him towards the station. Light rain fall has started and it wasn’t long before both the officer and Matt were damp before reaching the front doors. Gaining multiple looks of suspicion and distain, he was walked down to the cell section of the police station. Roughly pushed into his minuscule cell, the rusty clank of the metal closing behind echoed throughout the section of the police station. Feeling as if there’s nothing to do nor worth attempting, Matt laid down on the stiff bed in the corner. Although took much longer than on his makeshift bed of books and cloths, finally fell asleep. When he woke up, found himself leaning on a cold table. With head faced down, he finally opened his eyes and noticed he was sitting on a wooden chair. Raising his head, saw that the table was barren along with the room. Matt looked around and found the door. While attempting to get up and head towards the exit, felt something tug at his wrist. Suddenly, realized was retrained to the wooden chair by a pair of cuffs. Must have been dragged out and put in here while he was asleep... Was it because they thought he was dangerous and the person responsible for the murder? “Hello? Anyone listening?”, asked Matt confused. His question wasn’t long lingered, for the door he making his way to earlier opened. A tall and hefty man walked in with a notepad. Avoiding any glance at Matt, he walked and halted in place at the other side of the table. “Sit, now” said him in an oddly familiar voice. Perhaps was one of the officers talking downstairs at the time of his arrest. Matt slowly seated himself and waited for what he knew would come next: the interrogation… Question after question and unsatisfied response after response, the interrogator kept increasing in frustration. “Did you kill him?” the officer asked coldly. “No, would never have done such”, Matt responded honestly. “Then why where you in his house?”, the officer replied. “Because, he was my uncle and I lived there”, he stated back. Burrowing his eyebrows, the cop asked if Matt could explain the whole story to him. He did such and didn’t leave out a single detail… Besides what he saw in front of the broken window and in the woods. Although the officer seemed bit annoyed at certain parts, especially where Matt disregarded the police tape and locked the door, he did seem fairly understanding of others. Two hours later once all the other questions had been gone over and rather tedious paperwork, Matt was finally allowed to leave. It was clearly stated to him by the interrogator and few higher ranking officers that he will be constantly watched. Not sure exactly what they meant by that nor the extent they would actually watch him, Matt simply acknowledge their comments and made his way towards the front of the station. However, as he nearly reached the doors, noticed someone hauling an autopsy cart down the other hallway. For whatever reason, Matt decided to casually follow the morgue director down the hallway and towards his workplace. Avoiding all other officers and simply responding with, “I was asked back for additional questions”, for those that asked where he was going: Matt finally reached the morgue. Being careful not to draw attention to himself, he followed in and tried to avoid any creation of noise. Without realizing it, the morgue director started his way back into the police station’s lobby… At the last second, only due to the subtle noise emitted from the director accidentally tripping on his untied shoe. Matt quickly went down the small side hallway where the autopsy cleaning tools were kept. After hearing the director exit by another accidental trip much further away, he knew it was safe. Exiting the small hallway, he made his way to the morgue itself. Carefully opening the metallic door, he found himself in a moderate sized room. Everything was completely clean and there was nothing else in the room… besides his uncle’s body on the table, covered. Nothing has changed since the last time he saw his uncle. The skin was still pale white and the hole he poked into his uncle’s arm was still there. Matt approached the body and inspected the uncovered part. The upper torso, arms, and head didn’t appear to have any indications of what may have caused his death. That was until he checked the side of his neck. Two holes, skin around them even paler than the body, were on where Matt assumed the jugular to be. Not sure what any of this meant, he saw something at the bottom of the examination table near the feet. Picking it up, he found out it was a report of what appeared to have happened at the scene and initial inspection of the body. There were multiple blank pages underneath, assuming that the rest would be filled out after the autopsy. Scanning over what has been written, saw a comment made by the morgue directer on scene. “Appears as if all the blood was drained through the neck. Whatever person did such must have also been involved in similar cases across our region in past four months. Although can’t be certain as of yet, the tool used to extract the blood seems similar to the one used on other victims.” Matt didn’t recall seeing the morgue director at his old home, guessed that the director was in the ambulance when he was arrested. Not sure what to make of the notes he discovered, Matt’s body tensed up once he heard the door open behind him. Turning out, he saw… Nothing? “Guess I wasn’t the only one that thought checking the body was a good idea”, said someone from the other side of the room. Turning around once more, he saw a dark figure in the corner, looking at him with red eyes.

Anti, great story telling skills as always.  Would have to subtract some points for the lack of double spacing though.  Also that there is no use of spanish words for me to learn, as I one day want to teach others the sacred language of Aunty  ^_^

Nonetheless, Happy Halloween to everyone here at Raid!  Stay safe little ones whilst out searching for candy  :P As for the people like me, staying inside with the lights off drinking sodas and eating junk food, make sure the lights are off on the porch so no children interrupt you while you are gaming :dave:

Boy oh Boy I love Halloween :3 I love it when you're walking home after school, and around 3:30PM, it's already getting dark! It just brings a form of horror to me. I've never liked summer, winter has always been my favourite.
