Hello Raid, So for a while now I have been wondering what servers the community of Raid would like us to host. We have a strong cod 4 player base and because of this we have a lot of cod 4 servers. but not all of our players play cod4 every single day and not everyone wants to join 1,000 community around the internet for each different game they play. so going along these lines there must be a large amount of people that would like new servers on different games. Now this is not official. Posting here will not guaranty that we host for that game. This is more like a simple survey to see what games you would like Raid to host servers for. Nothing special but of course any game that is to get a large majority of members wanting us to host servers on it then its likely we will follow that vote. We can trial new servers as we go and the ones that do not work out we can take down and try again. Now there is a small side note to this. We will not every host a minecraft server unless we either become millionaires or our community grows a lot. I know that people want us to host a minecraft server, even I want one, but the bottom line is that it would eat way at our dedicated server and cause our other servers to take quite a large hit. So if we where ever going to get a minecraft server we would have to get another dedi and that costs money and I would have to learn how to handle server clusters and that shit is confusing :P But yeah, I wanted to be open with what the reasoning was behind me saying no to a minecraft server. So, please, Tell me what game ( and if applicable mod for X game ) you would like raid to host a server for. Mikey

I will defiently talk to Troll about this and see if we can get something up and going. I like the idea of Events to help build the community. Although a new server would be an extension onto growing out our community. Of course we would put the man hours into making a server that has admins and the right amount of changes and mods to make the members happy. The reason I am putting it out to you all is so I can see what you all want and the one the community wants the most would be the one we first trial and see how it goes. This is just to get an idea of what to put into a poll for the community at a later date.

Me, @Lossy and have been speaking about future changes for the fun server for a while. I am currently working on some pathing algorithms to map out the coners of maps and then spawn solids on them. Or just to kill a player if they go over the line. This is just to stop glitch spots. I have some more ideas like this to and I will be working on them over the next few weeks. The inventory thing is totally something me and Troll want to be added although I can see a slight amount of balancing issues. I will work with the other admins to get this sorted but it is defiently something we want added. I am not too sure about how to fix the easy stealth choppers unless I just change the kills needed to 30 and make the kills from the choppers not count towards kill streaks although that is completely against other cods :P

The forums will be a bit wider in the next version and I can defiantly improve how easy it is to see new posts and topics. Also the font needs to be a bit smaller.

Please do not post large blocks of code like that. I have moved it into a spoiler but I should not have to do that for you. Regarding the code. I do not know hows it is but I am more than 100% sure that it is not all yours. Please add credit. I will be making a post for guidelines when posting releases. I know there is nothing there yet and what you have done is logically allowed. But Please give the correct credit. And maybe a picture or video. A wall of text means nothing. There is a very clear reason why you have 7 down votes.

For my day job I am a website designer and as part of that in my free time I will go around the web finding communitys or charitys that can not afford nice new websites or just nice websites and I will offer to make them a free professional website just for them and because they are doing something good for the web and the world. That is that sort of person I am. I am always happy to help out and I will spend stupid amounts of time just helping one person out. I would also make a good Community manager because I know what it means to manage a community. Through my experience here and on other forums I have been a moderator or admin on. I have had many years of experience working with people and clients to either help them or solve problems and during those years I have also had to punish and reward community members for there good / bad behaviour. I do not give people special treatment when it comes to making the right decision and I will follow the rules and guidelines set by the community managers. I do as I am told and I always ask before doing something. I never allow myself to make a mistake by getting others to support to verify what I am doing. I will also make a good community manager because I love to work with the community on things. I continually want feedback on things like server modifications or website changes and full themes. As I have shown in my Site bugs sections I have always been happy talking about changes and hearing others feedback and suggestions and taking them on board. I really aim to listen to what the community wants and making sure that what they want is included into said project or decision. Yeah, I really can not make this happen for me. Its either a browser issues on your side or something magically that I am not sure on.
