  1. LIAR! That's not you, that's Scobbie's account! DISQUALIFIED.
  2. I own the Hyper 212 Evo, if you want I can give you some benchmarks on my CPU when it's idle, gaming, rendering, and the same temps when it's OC'ed. I don't OC mine, and it usually stays at around 45 degrees when in use. However, I haven't OC'ed in a while so I'd have to OC it to tell ya. The Evo 212 is really a pain to install, but just follow a video and it's really easy. The H60 is water cooling, so it'll be better at cooling but you have to install it right otherwise you risk compromising your whole system with a water leak. :s I've never tried water cooling, so I really don't know much about it. The H60 is double the price of the Evo though.
  3. The thing is, I have a Razer Imperator, and I absolutely love it. However, the main difference between the DeathAdder and the Imperator is the overall shape. It really depends on the way you grab your mouse, and whether you like a big, tall mouse, or a more flat mouse. Look at the Imperator and the DeathAdder from a side angle to get what I mean. The DeathAdder is way too tall for me, it really just feels awkward in my hand compared to the lower, smoother Imperator. I believe the Imperator also has a higher DPI, but I haven't looked at the two in comparison in ages so I really don't know much tech-spec wise. Here's a picture of the DA and the Imperator. http://hothardware.com/newsimages/Item23406/Razer_DeathAdder_Side.jpg http://www.pcgameshardware.com/screenshots/original/2009/11/RZR_Imperator_SideV.jpg Spoilers aren't working for some reason... :( The pictures don't do it that much justice, but if you look you can really tell how much the DeathAdder slants downwards in the front, making it more of an upside-down V-shape mouse. It really all just depends on your hand and the way you feel it. I'd recommend going to the nearest Best-Buy or something (Or the equivalent of where you live) and look at them. Razer boxes are designed so that you can put your hand on the mouse to feel it without taking it out of the box. Also, the Razer Configurator for the Imperator is nice, (I think all of the new mice use Razer Synapse 2.0 though) allowing you to create macros and adjust DPI settings and on-the-fly sensitivity changes. The Imperator has side buttons that you can move up and down the mouse depending on your thumb position, which the DA lacks. Honestly, it's really just personal opinion and I'm really biased towards the Imperator since I have it, but I feel like I'm one of the few with an Imperator though, I feel as if the DA is pretty overhyped.
  4. Also, just because it's free doesn't mean you should get it, I've gotten free games and never touched them. You should want it because you WANT TO PLAY IT, not because IT'S FREE. Don't ruin other people's chances just because "it's free"
  5. I used to go over to my friends' house to play Borderlands all the time. It really was a ton of fun, but I could never afford either borderlands or borderlands 2 myself. It'd be awesome to have it, so I could finally enjoy it again
  6. inb4 actually neighbors
  7. Stop bumping old topics! :angryarnold:
  8. But that bump doe. Please don't reply to old topics if there's nothing new to say that's worthwhile. Even though this one is only really 2 days old, most of it has already been said and the only reason it was bumped a few days ago was based on an update from the guy's channel. Locked.

  10. Four ones in my life, For once in my life. :3 (Thought it was Money life for a minute, but then I was like ) I don't have another one to do, somebody else post one
  11. Yes, I can twerk. Do you think Darmuh's a no-life for being on the forums for a total of 51 days?
  12. No. Is OP a faggot?
  13. I watched the first 30 seconds of his first video and nearly died due to loss of brain cells. I'm not giving this moron any more of my time and his rap sucked anyways, he shouldn't even be given the time. He's just a stupid kid, which if you think about it, we all are. Just grow up and quit giving him the satisfaction that he's making you angry, it's not worth it. If he offended you, that was the point you imbecile. He's trying to get a reaction out of you, because that's exactly what he wants to do. It's unfortunate that there are idiots like this in the world, but in the end, y'know what can really make him mad? You succeeding in life where he fails because he's a moron who's probably not going to go anywhere because 1) he appears to be pretty stupid intelligence wise, and 2) he seems to have trouble enunciating quite a few words so good luck to him finding a job anywhere.
  14. Has this maintenance been completed?
  15. It's funny because TTG already exists, TTG = TheTechGame, and it's a legit community of modders and gamers alike. It's actually a pretty legit community that crosses multiple games and platforms, which is pretty difficult to get into as well. So, this guy's even more of an idiot xD
  16. Those hands though, there aren't any reflection probes in the map. :dave:
  17. 1) Download the newest driver for the audio device. 2) Unplug your speakers from the 3.5mm jack. Go into Device Manager, open up audio devices, and uninstall all of the audio drivers you have. Make SURE THE BOX IS TICKED. 3) Shut down the computer. Unplug the PSU from the wall, and hold the power button for 30 seconds. 4) Turn on your computer, and enter the BIOS. (If you don't know how to do this let me know, cba to explain it right now) 5) Reset BIOS settings to DEFAULT, Save and Exit. 6) Boot into windows normally, and install the driver. 7) Plug in your headset again and see if it works.
  18. Take a compressed air container and blow air inside of the jack itself, also may I ask if this is a Sound Card or is it On-Board audio? Or the front panel headphone jack?
  19. Go back and do the math, take your 770 price, add the R9 price, subtract the selling price of your 770. Is it worth it? Also, I think the 770 is better than the R9 anyways, but I could be wrong, I don't know much about AMD cards.
  20. The thing is, he already HAS a 770. If you were building a new PC and needed a GPU to start with, sure, get the 970. But as Bear said, the differences are so minimal but so much more expensive. BF4, BF Hardline, Planetside 2, Crysis 3, I only have 2GB and I experience ZERO stuttering at full settings. Your argument is invalid because your facts are wrong.
  21. 2GB doesn't man anything, like I said. The amount of VRAM doesn't mean much, it's how well your GPU manages it and uses it. Otherwise, the 4GB 780 would perform the same as the 4GB 970. As we know, the 970 outperforms the 770 that you have, and the 700 series in general, but there's still ZERO reason to upgrade. It's a waste of money, because no games nowadays come anywhere close to maxing out the 770 that you have. If you get low FPS, it's because the game is not properly optimized, which happens way too often on games nowadays. It's not your GPU, it's the game, and buying a new GPU is a shot in the dark because you don't know how well your new GPU will even be optimized, so you may actually get the same problem.
  22. I'm not paying for my electricity bills, thankfully. Shorter lifespan? I don't think so, i think it depends completely on the build of the PSU itself. My PSU doesn't make much noise by itself, its mostly my case fans which make all the noise. And as for the 80+gold with 5 year warranty ro 9euros more? I'd do it, I just didn't see that when i put together those parts. YOu gotta remember, I did that in 10-15 minutes while in-class :dave:
  23. I have an unrated PSU and it hasn't caused any issues. the 80+ level is how EFFICIENT the PSU is, like making it environmentally more stable I guess. The higher the 80+ level, the better it is for the environment. It has no reason at all for the actual rating of how long it's going to last. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/80_Plus
  24. I've done some editing, this one is 705 GBP http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/bhFNsY CPU: Intel 4690K - 4 Physical cores @ 3.5GHz+ Intel HD Graphics 4600 LGA 1150 Socket MoBo: ASRock Z87M Extreme4 MicroATX Motherboard LGA 1150 Socket(4 RAM slots/RAID Support/3-way SLI/6 SATA 3.0 ports) RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws Z 8GB @ 2400 MHz(2x4GB) Also, I may recommend lowering this speed, it's cheaper and the performance boost is sooooo minimal due to RAM latency HDD: WD Caviar Blue 1TB HDD @ 7200 RPM w/ 64MB Cache GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB Superclocked(4GB GDDR5/1.17Ghz/HDMI/DVI-D/DVI-I/DisplayPort/1664 CUDA cores) Case: GX700 ATX Mid Tower Case (2x140mm top fans(or 240mm water cooling)/1x120mm rear fan/2x120mm front fans/1x120mm side fan for cooling GPU's) PSU: Thermaltake SMART 550W 80+ Bronze ATX (1 fan) 705 GBP as well, if you want to cut down more on price I recommend changing the RAM to a lower frequency, there really is no need for RAM that high because the performance boost is really minimal.
