Hey all, it's SnipeD. Just wanted to let you guys know that I'm taking a temporary break from playing COD to concentrate on spending more time with my girlfriend of 2 years and get our relationship back on track. I love playing Cod4, and the RAID community is the best place to be, so I hope to be back before too long. Thanks again to all of you who have made me feel welcome here, especially Grezwall, DeadEcho, Anti and Cloudy. I'm sure I've missed a few, so don't take it personally :p Anyway, keep the server active and growing! SnipeD (Josh)

I realize this thread is a little old, but here's a link to one that is 10 seconds like the original posting. http://www.urban75.com/Mag/java7.html My Score with a Logitech G5 mouse:

Looks like a pretty good build. Processor should still be pretty decent for almost anything. Not that many games are super processor intensive anyway. I would however try and add some more RAM. Right now I have Cod4, Google Chrome (4 tabs) and foobar2000 music player open and I'm already using 3.7 GB of RAM. I always say Windows 7 should have a min of 4GB of RAM to make sure it runs smooth, and add more if you're running games or programs that will use a bunch of RAM. Your mobo runs dual channel DDR2 RAM with up to 2GB per slot, so you'll probably want either 2x 2GB sticks, or if you have a little extra money get 4x 2GB sticks. 1066 MHz should be fine, but 1200 MHz doesnt hurt either.

Thanks Anti and Grezwal. For a custom build you can check out my computer specs. Forums > General Discussions > Computer specs > post #163 or http://raid-gaming.net/forums/topic/9-computor-specs/?p=6782

My System. Built myself :) Processor is lightly OC'd at 3.2GHz Audio Card is the HT Omega Claro Halo XT COD4 is installed on my Intel X25-m SSD My operating system and a few programs (Adobe Creative Suite, Antivirus other basic stuff) is on my Crucial C300 SSD The rest of my programs and documents are on the WD Caviar Black 1TB I built the system 3 or so years ago, but so far the only thing that can really slow it down is rendering video, or rendering fractal art with Mandelbulber. http://i.imgur.com/uCvAj97.png?1 SnipeD *edit* I should have plugged in my 15 USB thumb drives and 4 external drives... would have made for a more interesting Speccy view haha :p

Hey my fellow Raid crew :) So I've been on here a while, but realized I'd never written an introduction, so most of you only know me as SnipeD on the fun server. Anyways my real name is Josh, I'm 21... old i know haha... I've been playing COD on and off for years starting with COD2 and working up. COD4 has always been my favorite version, and since finding the RAID servers, they have been my go-to for gaming. I love the community here and there are a lot of regulars. About me: As i mentioned, I'm 21, I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I work as an Audio Visual Technician at a downtown hotel. Some of my hobbies include photography, computers (repairs, building), music (drums, bass, vocal) and sports (soccer, basketball, badminton and pretty much anything else). Feel free to add me on Xfire or Teamspeak Xfire: snipedog88 Teamspeak: SnipeD

Do you accept the requirements?: Yes What is your real name?: Josh Vine What is your in-game name?: SnipeD How old are you?: 21 What is your primary server?: Fun What is your B3 CID?:11655 What is your Xfire?: snipedog88 What is your Skype?: josh.vine What is your Steam?: snipedog88 What is your Origin?: na What makes you a good admin?: I wish for every player to be able to play a clean game free from any form of hacking. Too often individuals join the server, and end up wrecking the fun for the rest of the "clean" players. I am patient and will not ban unless I am certain the player is in fact cheating. I have a fast internet connection with a ping of under 30 and achieve a constant frame rate of 125 fps on the Raid Fun server, so it is usually easy to determine who is cheating. What skills do you have?: - Audio Recording Technology (My day job is an Event Technology Specialist) - Photoshop - Computer repairs - Some html coding What clans/communities/forums have you been at?: None Why should we choose you?: Our main job as Admins is to keep the servers fun and fair for everyone. I would be honored to help enforce the set rules. I play frequently, so I could frequently monitor the server. Most other reasons why I believe I would make a good candidate are listed under "What Makes you a Good Admin". Thank you for considering me, I know there have been quite a few applicants. Josh
