Firstly, do you own the sources to a working version of deathrun yourself? If so then good, you've already passed the first step :P What I'm wondering is, why are you using a hex editor to edit the abilityTable.csv? A CSV file is a comma seperated value file, which is editable in any normal text editor. However, if you are looking for a program that works extremely well with CSV files in my opinion then Microsoft Excel works like a charm ^^ Also, in answer to your problem, this isn't the only file you'll have to change for this, the ability unlocks are linked in more files, such as a few GSC files as well as menu files. I've said all I am useful for at the moment, so if you need more help I'm sure someone else from these forums will be willing to aid you further :D

I don't work on the mod matey ^^ Lossy does.

So last night we gained a new member to the forums, and his name is @Mr.Diddles. Mr.Diddles was our 1000th member to join the forums! Congratulations Diddles :davemas: A lot of you may think "oh, so what if we have 1k members? Big deal :dave: ". But for me, it's quite a big occasion. I remember when Raid was just a little baby forum and was running on MyBB. But we've come a long way since then and we have the previous owners and admins to thank for this! So I'd like everyone to give a big thanks to @Darmuh for being the main cause of Raid back when it begun and putting a lot of effort in to trying to make sure it stayed the way he visioned it; @Lossy for trying his best to learn about the ways of hosting and keeping a website online and bug-free as well as taking the time to try and learn everything he can about cod4 to make sure that our servers are not only protected, but up to date and fun as well; @Thomas, well, Thomas is actually underrated if I am honest. Yes he can be a bit of a nub sometimes, like the April fools prank he played on us which kind of turned the forums in to a same-sex disco website for a while. But Thomas actually did quite a lot of work behind the scenes to keep us running back in the day, such as managing the B3 work, any forum work that involved things that Darmuh and Lossy couldn't figure out. Also, I'd like to give thanks to @NinJa and @NNJ, as they also did put in quite some work, as you can see for yourself from some of the pages on this forums. Also, @BraXi deserves a thank you, he made the shitty fucking mod and pretended to be a woman to trick all of the deathrun community this whole time This post just wouldn't be complete if I didn't include the next person if I am honest. He is the backbone behind Raid and he puts a lot of time in to Raid as if his life depended on it. I couldn't be talking about anyone else other than @Anti. It's unbelievable with the amount of things Anti does for us and I feel as if he doesn't get as much recognition as he deserves. So thank you Anti, wouldn't be the same without you bud ^^ There are many more names to include, but I want to try and keep this thread as short as possible, ^ sorry for the wall of text :P So thank you to EVERYONE else that is here, you make Raid worth carrying on. Anyway! Here's to Raid-Gaming and I hope we have many more members to come :D P.S. First of all, hello everyone! Okay I'll be explaining a few things in this topic about the current situation Raid Gaming is in and what we plan on doing. Second of all, you can tell I wrote this and not Anti because it's not double spaced in-between each and every single line. But iMtroll, I thought Raid-Gaming was closing?!?!?!111oneone!: Don't worry youngling, everything will be answered in this topic. Okay so originally, Raid Gaming was supposed to be closing, because of reasons stated in THIS TOPIC. But a small group of us here at raid have decided to pretty much take the community in to our own hands with permission of the previous owners but on new equipment and accounts for legal reasons such as data protection and similar issues. Because of this it means our servers will be hosted on a new dedicated server; but don't worry, it's got the exact same specifications as the server we have now except we now have 150Mbps more bandwidth than before, at the same price. (Yes, this means it WILL be harder to attack us, not that you should be testing this or attacking us in the first place.) Obviously, since Raid will now be under new ownership this means there will have to be some changes, but we promise that we will try our best to keep Raid the same way it was in its original glory (maybe with a tad bit less errors in our punctuation, grammar and sentence structure now that Lossy is not a part of the admin team ;P love ya babes) In no way will the mod be changed except for a few minor changes every now and again just like Lossy was doing to the mod, to keep it alive and fresh. There will also be bug fixes whenever something occurs. Where is the new server hosted? Unfortunately, upon ordering from SYS (A company owned by OVH) I selected a server in Canada hoping this would be the best server we can get the new dedi in the same location as our current one (PROOF: Only available location was Canada...) BUT, we were given a server in France, sorry to those of you who will have a slight ping difference. To those of you that helped me buy the dedi, thank you and I will be giving you the money back but you will be receiving it one by one over time from my own bank account, so this may take some time. Once again, thank you everyone and I hope you can all enjoy Raid still! If you have any problems please let me know and I'll see what I can do! TL;DR I am now an owner of Raid, new server will be in France (sorry, but blame OVH / SYS), Raid will be running the same way it always was and nothing will change except for some minor things over time to keep things fresh, just as Lossy did.
