    So, shitty government has requested all IT departments in SA schools to drop Java and start teaching Delphi because it was "too challenging" (for the bush kiddies) lmao. Time to stop IT eh

      true. my fucking computer classes in high school is working with ms word,excel, etc. I mean, unless youre a total fucking idiot im pretty sure there isnt a need for that bullshit.

      You'd be surprised siik. Delphi isn't that bad, it's way more efficient than Java could ever be due to Java's nature of running in a Virtual Machine. If Java wouldn't be an industry standard I probably wouldn't bother learning it, I genuinenly despise how it functions (garbage collector, JVM, ...).
