How do I possibly fill this corner in to make it look good with the others? http://gyazo.com/af3c561435fc454aef09b8fe7e67290c

You could have accidentally damaged something when cleaning it out somehow?
-
Seems like a fair purchase to me!
-
Yah I am going to be playing CoD4, DayZ (Standalone), GMoD, CS, Outlast, Arma 2 w/ DayZ Mod
-
What's the keyboard shortcut for that cool? I haven't used clipper tool much
-
Not quite sure what you mean by that :s

I don't know who's more knowledgable out of Bear & BraXi D: they both seem to have complete different views, but you're all going towards Bear's build, so I will read through this whole thread, do some research based around what you guys have commented, and pick the best stuff which seems good, then post the outcome here when I do. Haven't had time to spend time reading Bear's lengthy posts today, just got home, but, I will check them out later. I appreciate the help from everyone :)

Why Bosnian? I bet you're like me, don't have a clue what they're talking about

I will read all of that when I am not busy at College :) This morning I went on PC part maker and saw that the price was not what BraXi said, I'll concertrate more on this later, I am here until 5:15 or 6:45 idk yet

Well yeah, I have to be careful now that my mum isn't chipping in as much as I though, it just means I'll have to sell stuff, but I see what you mean and agree with you.
-
Cannot agree with you there :) Anyway, power is no problem, graphics card is gold atm and newer generations are only going to consume less and less power (if nvidea play their cards right..) Also, about hard drives, don't worry, in the future with prices coming down and new tech being made, you'll want to buy floppy disks SSDs which I believe take in less power than those loud slow horrible 'hard drives' (ew). Should I just get an SSD for my memory? But not you don't need it, even CoD editing ain't that heavy, you don't need your stuff done ASAP 5 mins render time. I suspect movie editors or whatever who use 20gb+ video files adding CGI etc is heavy editing? You have a point, but if I get to Cozzi's standard, i'd be needing that i7 ;) He spent one month on an edit, the file size was ridiculous and the render time was 24hours+ I believe.

Well, I was planning to do video editing in the future as I do video editing like JWofles and he keeps begging me to edit again, so it's something to think about. I'll be playing: CoD4, Counter Strike: Source & DayZ Standalone when I get it NEW INTEL: My mother declined giving me money, therefore I am buying it for my own birthday! Hurray! Time to sell some shit

Ignore the RAM part. I explained that you put the quantity to two.

Sounds good BraXi :) For the PSU, what if I wanted to install something else in the machine at a later date, but need a higher power supply?
-
Be aware that the part list I linked was not something I made, it was something from a friend I trusted. I just wanted more opinions. I will be keeping the GeForce 770 because by reading Headdy's topic, there really is no need for someone like me to get a 980. As for the PSU, I'm sure the one listed is fine Bear :) Been looking at the processor, that seems fine, good reviews, and people I know have / are getting that one too (I didn't copy, it was a coincidence) http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/PParkerr/saved/mN9wrH Quote this with thoughts, opinions and better ideas which will not make the price sky high; after all, I do want my car yanno! but pc too Thanks all!

Guys guys, I know you want me to get the best PC setup possible, but honestly, it's not worth fighting over! Simple solution would be to donate to my bank account, and we all win! I choose the setup you gave me, and I have the setup I want :awesome:

Looks decent, i'd probably throw in a CD drive too

It just goes to show how gullible people can be. They judging a how community from a word of someone who hates raid; someone who wants raid hated. He will do anything to achieve this, but it's good that people are finally identifying the lies and confronting eachother and finding out the truth. I'd say Raid is the strongest community. The leaders are good at what they do, know how to run things, fix things etc. We've all seen the punishments. If Lossy was to send these tools to someone, he would probably be punished. I don't think any community manager would start heat with another team on purpose. Of course there is going to be heat between teams, that's normal, but blaming and judging on a hater's thoughts is just awful judgement in the first place. Raid are good!!

Tight budget of £600 - £700. Was going to get and XB1 but decided to make a deal with my mum to put thr £350 to the PC and I put the rest to, so I am selling my PC for £250 and possibly chipping in £100 of my savings. I could happily spend over £1,000 but I need some money for car insurance and other stuff
-
Yeah I didn't read the name, just saw purple hahaha, my bad. And I must have miscalculated the dollars; my bad. As beatthat's build is $1000 (sorry for my miscalculations), I am going to have to go with my build with a few changes perhaps (like you suggested) This will be my first time building a PC from scratch, so it should be interesting.

I have been messing around with that part picker, and someone came up with this build: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/PParkerr/saved/mN9wrH This build seems good. What's different about Cat's build which will give me an advantage? The speed and stuff?
