    I want to start using a Linux based os for my daily activities what should I use Debian or Ubuntu as I m a beginner and I don't know much about Linux

      I prefer Ubuntu as a desktop operating system. There are different desktop environments you can try for Ubuntu. I believe Unity is installed by default, but a popular alternative is GNOME.
