Title says it all, post your favourite plugins / extensions in this thread.

Here are mine:

-Chrome-

1. Web of Trust Allows users to rate a site. It will look like this if you do a google search: http://i.gyazo.com/22758468da49ebd7757f21f277b4e94c.png

Green = Trusted Website

Yellow = Suspicious Website

Red = Not Trusted Website

White = Hasn't been rated by enough users yet

2. Adblock Plus: Not much to say here.. blocks all ads.

3. µMatrix: Blocks Javascript, ads etc.. on all websites unless you allow it. Kinda compilcated if you use it for the first time, so I'd suggest you to look for a tutorial. Looks like this: http://i.gyazo.com/1418254cd8fe454692a03208a1cab062.png. Also, for some reason it doesn't stop scripts on the main website, only on 3rd party sites, so I'd suggest you to manually add a rule in the settings called "script block".

4. LoungeDestroyer: "Improves the experience of CS:GO Lounge and DOTA2 Lounge"

Features:

Auto-bet/-return/-accept trade offers

Automatically loads market prices for all items

Redirect from wait.html to the page you intended to visit

Steam market prices for items when you hover on an item

Market listing and market search links added to item pop-up

Remove stream and stream chat on match pages

Automatic inventory loading

Cached inventories for times when API is down

Extension icon indicator displaying bot status

Notifications for new comments on trades and offers

Notifications for new matches

Notifications for when the bots go online

Notifications for when your returns are about to expire

Trade descriptions

Trade preview on all trades

Statistics about your betting inventory

-Firefox-

1. NoScript: A simpler version of µMatrix, blocks Javascript from happening, unless you allow it. To manage sites, click on the S at the top left corner: http://i.gyazo.com/4d9a632b08cc0c355279ec8278c1c122.png

2. Web of Trust: Already explained.

3. AdBlock Plus: Already explained.

GOM Web-VPN

Unlike other VPNs, there is no need to install a 3rd-party application other than the chrome extension.

It's very quick. For e.g. if u go on a youtube video that is blocked in your country, or a torrent site which is blocked, simple press the GOM VPN button in the chrome toolbar and it will instantly activate VPN for 15 minutes (you can adjust the limit right there).

Wolfram|Alpha (Official)
Instantly query Wolfram|Alpha from any page or tab.
Good when revising/studying for Maths tests on the web or doing high level maths homework...

I just stumbled across this little gem. I'm interested in seeing what other people use, so apologies in advance for bumping this thread.

Firefox:

Adblock Plus -- Self explanatory.

Ghostery -- Blocks practically every tracker that exists, highly recommend it. It's just a bit suspicious that it's owned by a web analytics company, but there isn't an open source alternative so hey ho.

NoScript -- Blocks all javascript, except those that you have whitelisted. Warns of XSS, blocks Java, Flash, Silverlight and other things on non-whitelisted websites. Totally customisable so isn't a nuisance once you've set it up.

Greasemonkey -- Run scripts you/others have made. I use anti-adblock as well as a load of shit that I've made over the years e.g. a poorly working script to replace bright backgrounds/text boxes with slightly darker ones to protect my eyes at night.

BetterPrivacy -- Deletes LSO cookies at intervals or when you exit firefox.

I've got some more extensions since last time.

Turn Off the Lights -
This extension does quite a lot of things but I only use it for one thing. Cool YouTube colour stuff.
Examples with varying settings:

Stylish -
Allows you to theme websites. I like dark themes...

Dark Skin for Youtube -

goo.gl URL Shortener -
Adds a little icon on your address bar to make your current link shortened via goo.gl.

Imgur Uploader -
You can right click any picture and upload it to imgur.

Smoothscroll -
Makes scrolling bearable.

Steam Inventory Helper & Enhanced Steam -
If you do any trading or anything with the steam inventory, you need these extensions, great time savers.
