Map Vote Suggestion Thread

Okay, so in this topic I would like you all to suggest maps that you want to be in the rotation on our deathrun server! This will be done very similarly to the music vote, I would like people to suggest what maps they want on our server in this topic, and follow a given format. Failure to meet this format means that your suggested map will not be added to the vote in two weeks time.

 

The way this is going to work is that I am going to ask each and every one of you to suggest some maps that you want, after two weeks, all of these maps will be added to a vote, this vote will then also include maps that we already have on our server that are available to be put in to the rotation.

the vote will last 2 weeks

 

The vote will be added up by moi and the rotation will be changed..

Uniqueness: Some different traps and fun lighting

Special features: None

Secrets: One

Levels: Three

End rooms: Old

Personal note: Certainly isn't the fanciest map, but it does have decent traps with it. Despite majority of them being pushers, still used in a manner that adds difficulty to what otherwise what would have been thought. Lighting makes it look different compared to most triple level maps. The theme itself is fairly weak and the main texture is a stretched blood stain. The map is called such after the dubstep song that I have never heard so can't really comment on that matter.

Size of overall map: Large

Amount of traps: Ten

Experience earned from traps: 350

Uniqueness: Good traps with worthwhile ways around them

Special features: None

Secrets: One

End rooms: Snipe, Shotgun, old, knife, deagle, and unique last jumper room

Name of map: mp_dr_mystic

Difficulty: Medium

Length of course: Medium

Size of overall map: Medium

Amount of traps: Thirteen

Experience earned from traps: 455

Amount of paths: One

Uniqueness: Good layout of course and great theme

Special features: None

Secrets: One if you count fun ^^

Levels: One

End rooms: Snipe, old, bounce, knife

Personal note: Rather fun map that sometimes does take a toll on your fps. The theme is very well followed out on the rain and textures present within. Most of the traps are enjoyable to avoid and actually takes thinking to do so. Them teddy bears though, some of the biggest trolls in deathrun 

 

Name of map: mp_deathrun_oreo

Difficulty: Easy to medium

Length of course: Medium

Size of overall map: Large

Amount of traps: Seven

Experience earned from traps: 245

Amount of paths: One

Uniqueness: Some of the traps are decent and course gets special towards end

Special features: None

Secrets: One

Levels: Three (Main)

End rooms: Most weapons, RPG, knife

Personal note: While the traps aren't anything special and could have been better, the course itself is interesting and has fun moments with it. The black and white look for the theme is decently implemented. As for the secret, it's a bit overpowered but can easily be nerfed.

Difficulty: Medium to hard

Length of course: Medium to long

Size of overall map: Large

Amount of traps: Six

Experience earned from traps: 210

Amount of paths: Two

Uniqueness: Difficulty, which seems to be more rare these days with deathrun maps

Special features: None

Secrets: One although does essentially nothing 

Levels: Two

End rooms: Snipe

Personal note: A map that actually has some difficulty to it that isn't Terror, believe enough said on the matter

 

Name of map: mp_deathrun_lalamx

Difficulty: Easy medium

Length of course: Medium

Size of overall map: Medium

Amount of traps: Ten

Experience earned from traps: 350

Amount of paths: One

Uniqueness: Most traps challenging in their own little way

Special features: None

Secrets: None

Levels: Two

End rooms: Old

Personal note: Old map that remains playable and likable to this day. Some of the traps may be a bit dull, but the course and those which aren't are fun and possess some hair of difficulty to them

Difficulty: Easy medium

Length of course: Small

Size of overall map: Small

Amount of traps: Five

Experience earned from traps: 175

Amount of paths: One

Uniqueness: Simplicity 

Special features: None

Secrets: None

Levels: One

End rooms: Old

Personal note: Simply fun ^^

 

Name of map: mp_deathrun_palm

Difficulty: Easy

Length of course: Small medium

Size of overall map: Small

Amount of traps: Eight

Experience earned from traps: 280

Amount of paths: Two

Uniqueness: Good theme along with classic traps

Special features: None

Secrets: None

Levels: One

Personal note: RESPECT IT

Devmap it in-game, and map size is just personal judgement, say Dragonball is quite a big map, same as Underworld, so you'd put Large for it. Or if it was something like Pool, it'd be small, then anything in-between small and large is medium c:
