[Beta]mp_dr_overgrownv2

Hey guys, I finaly almost finished making the version 2 of my first map. I post it here already to (hopefully) get some feedfack from you guys.

 

Map name: mp_dr_overgrownv2

 

Map length: short/medium

 

Map difficulty: easy/medium

 

Amount of traps: 9 (10 if you include the minigun)

 

Endrooms: Old, knife, shotgun, sniper, weapon (still considering a rpg/c4 room)

Looks good, i'll download it and give it a try later. Hopefully there are some unique aspects to this map c:

my notes:

At spawn, in the room with the big door, in the ceiling a rock clips through, move it up or whatever, just go in that room and look up.

I like the first trap, and gj on making the rail slanted, looks cool.

The stairs to the second trap could be longer, they're easy to take fall damage from and they look a bit weird compared to the middle bit (drag them out).

 

Anyway, all the traps are pretty good, the slide section is a great idea and I just love that area in general, very unique and good trap (with the minigun).

The vision change is awesome, the map looks really nice and it's quite pretty. You've pretty much done everything right and there aren't many bugs at all.

Scripting is good too but I don't know about that stuff lmao. Oh and I like the sound, you did a good job doing them, sounds awesome.

EDIT- also add a mantle for the 3nd trap on the platform you're trying to get on.

Also the rooms are all broken

The rooms are closed in the first round, only old can be opened then. Or is there something else that breaks the rooms?

 

Edit: I cant make the stairs longer, because if I do then the player wont slide into the water anymore breaking the trap.

Oh, I only tested on the first round.

And what do you mean about sliding in the water? Isn't that at the end? I'm talking about the stairs after the first trap.

The 2nd trap makes removes the steps and the platform below for a couple of seconds so the players slide into the water.
