Indeed It's very likely that a similar scenario that caused life to form on Earth occurred elsewhere in the universe @DownVoteKing#2015 And other nubs, please avoid bringing unrelated information or opinions into this that may cause a negative debate

It's too late to cover the takeover, we're all aware now :troll:

The Irish nubs are infiltrating Raid D: At least it won't be as bad as the horrid animeme infiltration of 2014

Do you accept the requirements?: Accepted What's your real name?: Nate How old are you?: Seventeen What is your primary server: Deathrun, Cod Jumper, Combined Operations, FUN server, Promod server #1, Promod server #2, and teamspeak3 What is your b3 ID?: @103 What is your steam:? cod4anti What makes you a good admin?: Have been playing cod4 since 2008 when it was released on Mac. Over these past seven years I have been moderating on multiple servers and dealing with the vast amount of issues that come with the responsibility. As time passes and the experiences stack up, so did the amount of abusive players and hackers dealt with. To estimate and add up everything from several years would both be nearly impossible, but time consuming as well. So, will try and boil it down to raid alone. I have 727 admin actions (Warns, kicks, temp bans, and perm bans) since being with raid. While that isn't too much, 231 of them have been permanently banned hackers. Rest, about 496 or so, have been mix of warns/kicks/temp bans. This is more or less outdated information since months have past since these statistics were taken. Would update them if I was able, however no longer capable of checking echelon to receive accurate information. If given the chance, would continue on improving these numbers as trial admin. While I do wish that the mistake ratio (231:2) was nonexistent, do believe that have accomplished what most would consider a good admin would do. As for my behavior both on site and servers, think both are average. Sometimes I can come across as negative and or annoyed, however I never actually am to the point of affecting other's experiences and make anyone uncomfortable. My actions though are a bit less so. Have received three temp bans so far for my actions (Two of them being by my choice). I greatly regret doing such actions. Although one is slightly excusable since I asked to be banned for an example to be set for other players complaining about admins never receiving punishments, the other two were completely due to my wrongful actions. Despite these shortcomings, I still believe myself to be capable and willing to continue my job as an admin. These are a few basic things that make me a good choice. In addition to many years of experience and effort put into being an admin, have been peace maker for many conflicts that have broke out through the years. From players arguing about: sexism, racism, nationalism, religion, separatism, nazism, and overall hatred; have seen and dealt with it all. With all this being so, one would suspect that stress as well would buildup and affect the admin in question. Over the past several years haven't once gone overboard or verbally abused a player. No matter their actions or extent of flat out juvenile behavior. Even in times of great opposition, still remain calm and civilized. An example of this was when I was banned from 1.2 version of deathrun back in AR51. Not following suit with the others that misbehaved and caused trouble for everyone, I made a respectful thread on braxi.org and attempted to get unbanned in a reasonable manner with BraXi. Most people learning that they would be banned from their favorite server wouldn't be happy. People learning that they would be permanently banned from multiple servers including their favorites would be even less happy. But, those that learned they would be banned from update of what they consider the best mod, their favorite server, and multiple other servers would be past the point of raging. In times such as these and similar I remain self-aware and civilized. Although, to this day, BraXi still is a nub. Another decent quality that I have is response to tickets made by members of the community to better itself. While I won't disclose amount I have dealt with precisely, will say number dealt with and viewable results in 30.25% of tickets resolved. This has lowered due to my retirement and the improvement of server admins+ checking and dealing with tickets. I am greatly pleased to see this happen and hope that I can assist with that section of the forums once more. Lastly, possess a long history of dealing with issues (Behavior and or misinformation wise) on the site itself. This varies greatly since many different aspects to the site that each require a specific way to be helped. A few example include but are not limited to: Closing spam threads, assisting members of the community with applications, breaking up conflicts in threads and shout box, deleting status updates in which are harmful towards others or will certainly result in further issues, moving threads into the correct sub-forums section, giving forum warnings and punishment when required, and helping with things that I'm actually knowledgable in. If given trial admin once more, although I won't be doing all these straight away, will strive to do as much as I can with the position I'm given if I'm accepted. While not perfect, these are a few qualities that make me a good admin. What skills do you have?: To be honest, I have very little skills when it comes to scripting or doing anything that is considered important. My knowledge with site or dedi access/editing is very limited. These are essential skills that I am not capable as of yet. However, lacking in important features such as these, I slightly make up for it in both leadership and administrative abilities that have been mentioned prior in "What makes you a good admin" part of the template for applications. Leadership is a very important skill that few and fewer individuals have these days in cod4. Without this, lack of discipline and behavior issues may result. It takes someone who is fully responsible and a positive role model to keep everything together along with moving smoothly forward. Another skill (I won't dwell upon prior mentioned things again to avoid repetition and boredom) is my overall friendliness. I will certainly admit that I will come off as awkward at times. Not everyone socializes in the same manner, but I do my best to bring about a welcoming presence for others and put others' happiness above my own. This trait can be easily overlooked. However, with this, a lot of early bonds and positive impressions can be made. This can result in less conflict in the future and or more willingness for multiple to work towards fixing an issue should it arise. As time progressed in real life and I was met with much more issues that I won't disclose for the time being, matured more and became better equipped to dealing with individuals on a vast amount of issues. I'm uncertain yet to when and how I'll be able to put this new experience into practice on both the site and servers, but if cod4 taught me anything with it's social aspect is that anything may present itself at a given time. Possibly another one that could be considered as a skill would be ability to teach others. Something when helping another learn with b3 commands or how to become a responsible and helpful admin is patience along with positive demeanor. This can result in faster admin training and less overall mistakes that could have easily been avoided if they had (or even given one) the correct mentor/assistant. Would just be a trial admin, however still have the experience and ability to help other trial admins with their trial stage if they happen to need it. Hopefully I don't come off as bossy or a "show off" in some cases for others. One thing that can't be overlooked though is my lack of scripting and editing knowledge. As time progresses, along with most other things, will improve for the better. I've been learning slightly about computer related matters in some of my senior classes. Highly doubtful any of it would be useful in the fields here, but thought that I may as well mention that. What clans/communities/forums have you been at?: I've been an affiliated helper at =|FF|=, member at AR51, player at ISDP, player at Nova, player at IceOps, player at FNRP, player at C4S, player at 3xP, player at xM, player at pxg, senior admin at Rv, trial admin/server admin/lead admin at Raid. Although most of the nubs I've befriended and known within these clans/communities have moved on from cod4, still have connections with some ^^ Why should we choose you?: Proved prior that I have been semi-capable as an admin within Raid. Many reasons were provided that gives reason to choose me. Some outweigh others. Mentioned early on in "Do you accept the requirements" part of the template, I have been active and with Raid for 408 days (Not including before the forum change, 1.1 year). I have both been and shall continue being a responsible along with interactive member within the community. Despite being less active now and in the next few weeks, will start to slowly pick up once more. Can't promise the eight hours I used to be able to put in, but will try my best to carry out spending my free time to making Raid better as a whole. All proper judgments will continue to be upheld in a mature manner for those who break the rules that both site and servers possess. Still have yet to issue punishment that's been too harsh and won't break that streak now. Having 727 administrative actions (231 of them being banned hackers) only further supports this statement. Again, as it was mentioned earlier, this information is greatly outdated and I would update such had I been able to access it. Adding on to that is the countless hours of commitment put on both the servers and site for the better. While there are flaws present such as: being too strict at times, lack of knowledge in specific areas, joking going bit too far sometimes, and penalties received in the past; confident that will further grow upon my abilities and ambitions. Given the opportunity to become admin once more would allow me to build only more on this and hopefully become the once useful member within the community that I was before. Uncertain that an issue like my inactivity will ever present itself again, but will work through it regardless of the outside elements that may be playing a factor. Only other thing I can consider worth mentioning as a reason to choose me as an admin again would be that I already have bonds with members within this community. While these bonds are on various levels, most of them are on the positive side of the spectrum and will allow an easy transition back into the responsibilities and interactions with other staff. Additional information?: Indeed, I'm aware that this isn't part of the template, however I feel like there's more things that I wish to explain that don't fit within the prior template questions. As you may have noticed, a lot of this was copied from my troll admin application with some edits to it. That troll application was an edit based off my original application for Raid. Unfortunately, the original has been lost and I had to edit around with the latest version available to me. Does seem rather lazy and effortless, but tried on multiple occasions to write a whole new application. This has proved to be hopeless as I've been unable to make another one without repetition that was too similar already to the troll application. So apologies for this unprofessional action. More or less trying to make up for it with this section. This version is about twice as long as the prior version, still feel rather nubbish though. Anyways, back on topic. In the period of time I've been gone, greatly missed Raid and couldn't avoid taking time off of either football or work to spend at least some time on either the website or servers. May not be much time overall, but time I felt worth spending to reconnect with the old and newer players of the community. Still sure it wasn't a mistake retiring as my inactivity rendered me as no longer useful and capable of providing the assistance as I used to. However, with my season ending in a few weeks though (Which is likely how much longer the applications will remain open), want to return if possible and try to pick up the slack that I have left behind. Have over a month to catch up on along with the current responsibilities I'd be given if I receive trial once more, but believe I can manage such. For the lead admin and higher who will be voting, want to make it known that I may be less active for a week or so even after the applications close if my season continues further into the playoffs. An extended trial period perhaps would be required and hope such wouldn't be too much of a hassle on anyone's behalf. Feel free to either let me know publicly in this thread or through PM regarding this and follow the course of actions you feel suitable. Would love to be a more productive and active part of Raid once more if you nubzors allow such. Appreciate those that actually took the time to read this application.

Missed you too BeeYou belong with me <3

Appreciate itRegarding getting my position back however, it would be extremely unfair to both Synd and Cloudy along with other admins that may resign in the future and apply once more later if I just get my prior administrative position back straight away This is also just a regular application and not one like Cat has made which is position specific ^^ As for your last comment :P @DownVoteKing#2015 and others who might think this is a troll, they'd likely accepted it anyways and force me to be admin again if I tried a troll application of any kind :P

Been getting a lot of rain here in Virginia due to the hurricane, going to be a slip n' slide football (American) game tonight :dave:

Seems like they're (the player and allies) already on one of the roofs/buildingsIf possible, you could have it where the roof "collapses" and the players falls onto the floor below, stunned and damaged The helicopter could just move adjacent to the player as he/she goes down floors, shooting at them through the windows/less dense portions of the wall, until the helicopter is no longer available to lower its height They then proceed safety into the ally and continue on to the next section Not sure how exactly tall your buildings will be for this to work, but eh Or, you could do this: :PAlso, this is coding/mapping help, perhaps just ideas specifically merit it going into an alternative section

Said multiple times yourself that you'll be denied regardless, but you still want trial admin However, why bother especially when you put in little to no effort You'd be surprised what actually trying along with improving your behavior and actions will do For what it's worth, good luck

You wrote a lot in the announcement thread regarding just rcon, sure you can edit this to include some more information for the lead admins+ to go off of ^^ Good luck

They have invaded teamspeak as well, luckily only messing with Jake's channel :P

No problem and no need to be sorry, we all get confused with things we're not too familiar with If you have any additional questions, PM lead admins+ When you do edit this/ask for this to be deleted and make a full application, good luck
-
If this is just a question instead of an actually application like the title suggests, should PM someone in the future instead of making a thread This is the template that you have to copy and paste, then fill out accordingly: http://raid-gaming.net/forums/topic/606-admin-application-form/ Feel free to ask if you happen to have any further questions regarding such When applying, there's also requirements that can be viewed that you need to meet before being able to apply: http://raid-gaming.net/forums/forum/29-admin-applications-open/ (You don't meet the ten posts requirement, but eh) Also, don't believe you need to know how to use rcon as a trial admin in the case you're accepted Will be using b3 and if you happen to need assistance with such, other admins would be more than willing to help Now, if you like, could just edit this thread to follow out on the application format needed or ask lead admin+ to delete it and try again with a new thread following everything correctly
