Secondly, BraXi didn't say that he believed SpeedArtz over you, he said that you didn't make it for the reason being that you didn't post any of the files that would have made it work on ANY server, you only posted the plugin for B3 itself.

Anyway, I laughed when I read the part that Raid didn't go far and didn't get payed. There was a lot of money in the PayPal, the only reason raid was originally closing is because Lossy was leaving. Oh and our servers are still popular, with many players :P The only thing that makes Raid different to Quantum, is that we are organised, our admins don't argue with each other on who gets the most power, they do their job, they follow the rules. And we didn't close after about 2 weeks of hosting. Raid has been up for almost 2 years I believe, and we've managed to keep our players. Please don't come to these forums just to try and cause conflict between you and our members. There's a reason a lot of people don't like you and if I'm completely honest, the way you act at the moment won't get you far in life. If you come back on the forums to try cause trouble you're getting a temp ban, this is your only verbal warning. Edit: Typo's will be fixed when I'm on my pc, my phone is terrible for typos :P

When selecting the new dedicated server the only option available to purchase was Canada, as shown in the "Raid Gaming is Staying Alive" topic. But then upon paying for the server and being given the IP, I found out that the server was in France. I can't do anything about this and it would mean that we have to re-set up the servers on a new machine. If we were to do that then we would have no forums, no servers and any other things hosted by us would be down for a minimum of a few days. Unfortunately, we can't just move the server to a new location. Secondly, we aren't able to accept your offer on the Australian server due to security and legal risks that this would cause us in the long run. I am also unsure on how we would link the two servers so that players can connect to either one of them and end up in the same place as I have no knowledge on how to do this. But I do appreciate the offer and the help, thank you :) Sorry again if this new location causes problems to you or anyone else, but I really can't move the servers. If I bought another server it would probably just end up in France again and then we'd have to go through the process of setting everything up again just to find that our server is still in France.

You nubs, the reason you couldn't put them in the Tags is because you weren't using the image URLS, you were using the link that takes you to the urls of the image, you need the .jpg / .png version

Hello to all of you at the raid community, as some of you already know, a group of us are actually working together to keep raid running even after the current servers and dedi are no longer in use. A lot has been discussed since we all found out that our beloved Raid was closing and we have all spoken about a lot of things. In the meantime I have been discussing things with most of the parties involved with the raid reboot and working behind the scenes to try and make this happen. Well today after waiting quite a while a dedi that I've been keeping my eyes on has come available that is quite cheap monthly (the same as raid now I believe ( $50 a month ) ). I now have this dedi as a reserve on my account on the partnered OVH website with a secure password and at this moment in time I have around $40 available for the purchase; the only downside to this is that the first time you pay for the dedi they charge an installation fee. The prices are shown in the spoiler below but please read on after looking at the screenshot. Now I can pay for this whole dedi myself if need be, but if this is the case then we will all have to wait roughly three more weeks (10th March 2015) until I have the money, but obviously the sooner we get this dedi the sooner we can accept donations again and stop all of this "what will we do after Raid?" and "OMG NO RAID IS DYING" nonsense and carry on as usual. This also means that we will be able to learn about what we need to do to keep raid running more in depth to remain successful. I am not here to try and take the money from you guys, but if possible could some of you help out maybe just a little amount? Trust me when I say this but I hate receiving things from other people and I'm probably the last person that you'll find asking people for free shit honestly, over the past few weeks people were offering to help pay for the dedi and I kept refusing with reasons such as "It's your money, I don't want you to waste it." but that was before I realised the dedi would come to a first payment as high as it is. Again, I'm not forcing any of you to use your own money and I'm not trying to guilt trip any of you in to this, it's mainly just a message to everyone to let you know that some of us are planning to keep raid up and a small "could anyone please help?" This high payment should be the only one this high as it is a first time setup fee that OVH charges, the monthly payment afterwards will be around $50 a month just like Raid's current dedi and this should be easily payed off with donations from the lovely peepels on our servers. If not I am willing to help out with monthly costs until we are stable again. Future plans will be to slightly modify the servers and such but that is just to keep the server fresh so it doesn't get boring, very similar to what Lossy has been doing to the server to keep it alive.

We're getting it early so that we can learn how to do everything correctly and to make sure everything is running fine so that that way when the raid servers go down in April, we know for sure that we have everything we need. Also, we will be setting up the servers on this new dedi, and the servers we currently have will be converted in to redirect servers to our new ones so we don't lose any players for IP related reasons.

You can only have one Ambient playing at a time (usually used as the music in your map), where as play sound can have more than one instance of it playing at a time, which is usually used for map sounds like traps activating or for small things happening such as pipes leaking or barrels exploding etc :) TL;DR AmbientPlay is for ambience in a map and can only have one playing at a time (background music) PlaySound is to play sounds that have no limit on how many can play at once whether there is an ambient or not.

Update* Forgot to mention guys, DeadEcho has sent me some money directly to my bank account, but it may take a few days to actually appear in my account, so hopefully once converted this will make the limit ^^
