Happy thanksgiving to those whom it means something :D So I guess no one above me is thankful for anything? :troll: Personally, considering the economic and social problem surrounding poverty, corruption and (evil) historical legacies present in my country... I am HUGELY thankful for me being somewhat shielded from what goes on in the "townships" or in Afrikaans "Plakkerskampe" <- sounds so much more meaningful right? :P I know that if someone is killed in, most 1st world countries, that it'd be a huge upset and a full on investigation would take place (Mike Brown + Ferguson example) Over here, which I'm sure is no news to you or maybe something you don't know, is if someone is killed/murdered... not a single fuck is given. Want to know why? An average of 100 innocent people are murdered in cold-blood EVERY day. Not to mention the horrific rape, abuse and all that goes on in the not-so-terrific areas. PLEASE, do not get me wrong, I completely understand that we in SA are by far not the worst off with these concerns, but I for one... am eternally grateful to be apart of the small percentage of people, that are not effected by such. I've certainly learnt, to appreciate the small things in this thing we call "life". In some places, it'd be more suitably called "death". Sorry for going off a bit there, tried to stay on topic as much as possible but as soon as my passion for ridding my country of any misconceptions concerning it and its people... there's no telling what I'll say. Hope everyone enjoyed their day and thought about the small things they normally take for granted. ​oh, and I've never had Turkey before :okay:
