  1. Dammit Echo. >_< But yes, there was a parachute in his backpack and it didn't open, he died falling out of an airplane while skydiving.
  2. Here we go, I have one. A man is lying face down in a field, with nothing but a backpack. There is nothing around him, and the man is dead. How did he die? You may ask any questions you'd like, as long as as it is a yes/no question.
  3. RC TYCOON 2 :D I STILL HAVE THAT DISK SITTING RIGHT NEXT TO ME :D Too bad it barely runs on Win7. :okay:
  4. XBox games: PS2 Games I didn't own my own system until I got a Xbox 360 in 2009, right before MW2 came out. I have almost 250 hours in that game alone, in maybe a total of around 1 year...I played it way too much. :s I played all of my games at my friends houses, and god I loved playing Clone Wars, Battlefront 2, and Blitz....Super Smash Bros was awesome on the N64 as well, Mario Kart, Mario Kart double dash, and games like it. Another awesome game was Rayman: Raving Rabbids on the Wii. I remember I first bought that game, and brought it over to my friends house and we had 4 players on it, and played it for maybe 5-6 hours straight until 3 AM. We were laughing so hard and it was just amazing. But it's a party game, it's not very fun at all solo.
  5. QueNNch, are you a /b/rother?
  6. Lossy how much Lossy RAM do you currently have in your build? 4?
  7. WHALECUM TO THE FORUMS
  8. Most games don't even come near 3GB of RAM. BF4 on my PC sometimes uses 2, it's usually at 1-1.5 GB, and I have DDR3-1333MHz, which isn't really super fast.
  9. There can only be one Indian! You two must fight to the death! Begin! Just kidding, If you're anything like your brother you're a pretty cool guy. I look forward to getting to know you, although I haven't seen ya on the server though. Welcome to the forums, and enjoy your stay!
  10. Gabe, do you have any idea who Audio-Technica even is? I'm guessing the best audio company you've ever heard of is beats. :dumb: Anyways, Audio-Technica creates PRODUCER level headphones. They're not meant for gaming, they're meant for producing and what not. I just got a pair of in-ears on saturday, and they are by far the best headphones I have ever owned. Mine were $100, 50% off on amazon, got em for $50 instead. :3 I've also used Bose MIE2's, and these are cheaper and blow the Bose' out of the water. And you can say "stereo" sound all you want, headphones don't have surround sound. And I swear to god, I don't care HOW good your plantronics are, the sound quality of those will NEVER EVER in a million years stack up to a pair of producer headphones like Audio-Technicas, AKG, Sennheiser, and those like it. And before you say, "Oh you've never tried mine" yes, I have. I have friends who have the Trtion headsets, the super high-end Turtle Beaches, I've tried Astros, I've tried the Plantronics, I've tried Logitechs, I've tried Razers. Don't get me wrong, those headphones are ALL really good. However, the sound quality isn't nearly as good as the ones Grezwal has. Actually, the M50's are the only Over-Ear headphones I've tried from Audio Techncia, and I was blown away. So really, who cares. You can understand what he's saying, and it's not all static-y, so who cares? To me, it's all about sound quality. You can have a super good mic but you can't hear crap. //Sorry for rant. ;__;
  11. Grats to all new trials, full admins, and lead admins!
  12. Linux > all OS for pretty much everything besides gaming. The reason MBA's have so much battery life is because the components in there are so weak and require such little power. But I agree, I do LOVE macbook keyboards and tracpads, except THERE ISN'T A RIGHT CLICK. >_< Have to push down that stupid option key just to right click. :omfgwtfbbq: Mac OSX and Windows on same specs? I'd still take my chances with windows, mainly because it has minesweeper, so no matter how bad the computer is you can still play minesweeper. HUEHUEHE But I agree, different computers have different purposes, but for ALL AROUND computing, gaming, music producing, video editing, surfing the internet, emails, etc etc, I believe a windows PC would perform better than a mac. But in specific categories, like producing, the mac wins by a land slide, mainly because those programs are designed for Mac OSX only. Oh well, who cares? It's personal preference anyways. I like having civil debates, ask Darmuh, we argue all the time. ;) AND YOU DON'T LIKE MY FACEPALMS?? :OMFGWTFBBQ: :OMFGWTFBBQ: :OMFGWTFBBQ: :OMFGWTFBBQ:
  13. Windows computers can crush Mac OS...Trust me, I've used macs. I've also used mavericks. I know mac OS and Windows. And honestly, windows multitasks better, and they can perform better. Mac's put in the worst hardware possible, and charge for the highest-end parts. It's ridiculous and it actually pisses me off. My current craptop can run 20+ tabs in firefox and chrome no problem, internet tabs you can use on a computer running windows 95. Office can be a tad laggy, but honestly it's not that bad at all either with my laptop. I run 5-6 simultaneously and it's no big deal. And if you really just said, that Mac's are better for hardcore multitasking... I'd like to see a custom mac OSX run BF4, BF3, CoD4, Supreme Commander, Origin, Steam, Xfire, iTunes, Minecraft, teamspeak, and a minecraft server all at the same time and have next to NO performance issues.
  14. Why not get the super SLI-GTX 755M, Lenovo Laptop? It's the same price, and a couple people at my school have it, it's actually a BEAST of a laptop. It's the Lenovo Y510p, there are multiple varieites, but the one that's $1200, it has SLI + 4th Generation i7 CPU. http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/lenovo/y-series/y510p/?sb=:000001C9:00010254: ;__; People, Y U NO LOOK AT COMPETITION AND ONLY BUY MACS BECAUSE THEY'RE BETTER THAN THE $400 TOSHIBA THAT YOU BOUGHT AND NOW YOU THINK ALL PC'S SUCK. ;__________________; i cri evritiem.
  15. Gabe, shush. CPU's aren't always about clock speed, and RAM isn't all about how much you have. BraXi, I think the build is quite good, and it sounds like you're on a budget as well. It's also very upgradable, if he prefers he can upgrade the ram, and who needs a 750 Ti, when you can use a 650 Ti that does the same job? That'd be my only recommendation, the 750 Ti is unnecessary. And Gabe... Most store-bought computers run at around 2.4 GHz, they will suffice for what they plan to do with it. Also, 99% of laptop processors max out at around 2.4, at the very BEST, which is very rare. For power saving and heat, laptops don't go much higher, and yet you see plenty of laptops that can run high-end games. Also, my friend has a Core 2 Duo, 8GB of RAM, and an HD 6000 series from his store-bought PC, and it's actually quite a beast of a PC besides the GPU.
  16. He's a stud of a character, I'll tell you that. I know I don't have a say in this but he's a great guy and he's pretty mature. He can joke around and take a joke or two and throw one or two back at ya. He's an awesome guy to be around, and he knows the rules pretty well already. And I don't just say this about anybody...I usually just mark all the admin apps as read, since I can't really help in any decision making, but I believe Dark would make a great admin.
  17. Well guys, I was just screwing around on pcpartpicker and wanted to build a dream build, and the cost didn't matter. So basically, my build comes out to $12,500. But, my motherboard is also dual-CPU and pcpartpicker doesn't allow you to buy 2 CPU's on it's website, so I'd have to add another $2,000 to that original number to get my subtotal of $14,500. Then I'd have to pay taxes and shipping...but who cares. Dual Intel XEON 8-core CPU's with hyperthreading, for a total of 16 virtual and 16 physical cores, for a total of 32 cores. I'd also have 64GB of DDR3 2133 RAM, a 300GB SSD + 3TB HDD. I didn't bother with a RAID setup, because frankly I don't know anything about them, and all my PCI slots were full, so no raid controllers. :P I would have a 4-way SLI GTX Titan Black, each with 6GB of VRAM, for a total of 24GB of VRAM, not to mention the sheer power of 4 GTX Titan Blacks. My motherboard would be dual CPU running off of the Intel C602 chipset. Also included is a 1600W Rosewill semi-modular PSU, 80+ silver certified for that power efficiency, 3 28" Samsung 60Hz monitors @ 3840x2160 resolution with 1ms response time, an Asus Xonar Essence 24-bit Sound card which can handle sound frequencies up to 192 KHz. Also included is an Asus wifi adapter, 8, yes EIGHT Corsair PURPLE LED 120mm fans. A touch-screen NZXT Sentry LX Fan Controller, and a Razer Deathstalker Ultimate keyboard. I already have a mouse, keyboard, and a headset...so I don't need those. :P Also, my case is a Cooler Master Cosmos II ATX Full Tower case. My total is around $14,500 and good lord if only I had Google Fiber internet speed to go with it. Now, post your builds here! http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3JIkr
  18. They'll...Lossy, l2england
  19. Good choice on the Razer Carcharias, Razer headsets are actually quite good, nobody really uses them though. However, it all depends on your budget. How much are you willing to spend?
  20. We actually do have hoverboards. http://huvrtech.com/
  21. The thing with a halo mod is, all the custom gametypes and maps from forge were what made the game so fun, on top of the epic multiplayer. Custom mods were epic, custom infection maps, stuff like that. I bet a Grifball mod would be epic....
  22. I think phantoms are overrated. Sure, they're nice cases and have aesthetic value, but I don't see them worth $179, nor do I see the Antec Lanboy Air's worth that much either. But the Lanboy Air's airflow CAN'T be topped. No way. It's practically made out of pure mesh with I believe 19 fans. It's insane.
  23. *sigh* A 2nd monitor is nice, but is it really necessary? You always complain about how bad your GPU is, and yet throwing another monitor on it is only going to make it worse. I'd upgrade the GPU if I were you, but it's all preference I guess...
  24. Great to hear! Glad it's not too serious, glad to see you're trying to stay in shape. Good luck to you, and hope to see you back often!
  25. Bear, what are you talking about, that edit was beautiful. Thanks everybody, and gracias Waffles, for the awesome edit. :3
