    I hope this is trolling and i hope you are not mentioning to the Greek economical system after realizing I'm greek.  The fact that there is a racist and an idea that greeks dont pay depts is a production of Americas media propaganta. Greeks work, and they work hard, the politicians keep sucking our money with measures to "increase our economy level" and pay the dept. On the other hand the Germans hate the Greeks and reverse because what they hear from the media about the countries political relations. And its is a colossal stupidity to hate a group of people just because of the political relations. And You cant tell me what to do.

    Just a short note here, Bear isn't even American :s

     

    Also, I think Darmuh hit the nail on the head in his post. The problem isn't just America, and not all Americans even think that extreme. It's very comparable to placing the label that all Islamist/Muslims are terrorists, and that's just not true at all.

     

    On Topic: Animation is quite nice, I played it without sound, but I'm not sure if you are able to maybe add a chest compression animation on the body of the person having the CPR being performed on? Like it was nice to see the reactions to the pounding and pushing, but the chest cavity didn't move at all, just my opinion, I'm not even sure if the engine can allow you to do that.

    I definitely agree instead of "Next Map" it should say the actual map name. Since I only worked on that for a week or so (left Rv fairly soon after I started working on this) I kind of forgot about it. It was only today after I downloaded my old xfire screenshots that I was looking through and saw it. It would definitely have been easier to debug if the vote option displayed the map name, that way I wouldnt have to actually load each map over and over xD

    Anyway, I don't think I could ever do this even if I did still play cod4 religiously(srry csgo took my life). This is work for those of you who are much smarter than me :)

    And I do think this is one of if not THE most important issue that plagues deathrun today. Finding a solution for the most complained about problem in deathrun since it's inception should have priority over things like new skins, models, ranks, or whatever. Kind of like how everyone complains to valve for adding music kits to csgo when hitboxes are fucked. Work on the core game (or mod in this case) first, add extra stuff later.

    Hell if I remember correctly we were pretty close to finishing it in the first place, I think it was just the B3 issue we ran into having it display the wrong map in the rotation. 

     

    @@Sentrex I was working on it a little bit when we first started it, I'd love to help you finish it with you if you'd allow me to do so.

    Personal reasons; not lasting long, promoting Cat to SM when me and darmuh didn't really agree on it, trying to give cat CM when we didn't agree to it at all, the way he left which pretty much ended up him saying "i hope you guys fail and fuck the rest of you", when he tried to come back he wanted full power back and more... meh can see for yourself http://raid-gaming.net/forums/topic/147-im-outta-here/?p=1485 most of things that was said was said between me and him in a private conversation.

     

    But month or two he decided to add me on steam and apolopgise and left it at that.

     

    tl;dr i feel he doesn't derserve the rank because of a lot of reasons

    So, since there's been quite a bit of confusion, let me clear a few things up here, and say a little bit about my side of the story. This is not here to start a debate, simply state another side of the story, since I feel as if Lossy portrays me and my skills pretty poorly. 

     

    When NinJa was beginning his departure from CoD4 and Raid, we had a few conversations over steam and got along quite nicely, and became good friends. He told me of his decision to depart from raid, but nothing of how he wanted me to take his place. That was a surprise to me as well. His request was for me to become a Community Manager, which never happened, obviously, as the other CM's at the time didn't feel as if I was ready for the job, which I agree with. As @Darmuh stated earlier, I was too busy with schoolwork, baseball, and other extracurricular activities. I had no experience for the job either, I was really only good with server-side stuff, and even then, only CoD4, Minecraft, and Teamspeak stuff. I had no idea how to run webservers or anything else. But yet again, all we ran at Raid was CoD4, Minecraft, and teamspeak, so I could easily help manage server-side stuff. I was easily capable, and had the knowledge to do it. I couldn't help much with development of the servers, but I could help with maintenance and upkeep. Surprisingly, I was kept on as a Server Manager, probably to NinJa's consistent nagging of Darmuh and Lossy to put me in a higher position of power than my current admin status. Upon receiving server manager, I was never given access to the dedicated server itself. I would ask a couple times, but I never actually received it. I had echelon access, but that was about the most access I ever received. I was basically a Lead Admin with the Server Manager label. However, when Darmuh, Lossy, Thomas, and BraXi all decided to step down, came into the picture and took over Raid. I myself was in the running for the CM job, but I'm glad I didn't end up going through with it anyways, since Troll has done a much better job than I ever could have. However, Troll was the first to give me access to the dedicated server, as we planned to go into CS:GO and asked me to setup a server for testing, since I now knew how to setup CSGO servers and setup mods on them. I received the access, but however did absolutely nothing with it, as grades were dropping and I desperately had to get them back up to standards. Everything in my current life sorta fell apart at once, and you can ask @Anti about how many times he messaged me on xfire or steam asking how I was, only to get a short response about how I'm not doing well and am unable to talk since I was studying. (On a side note, I do miss those conversations :wub:) With everything else going on, both academically and even more personally, I had no time to work on the servers, and ultimately was moved to the "Retired" admins group by Troll without any warning. I messaged him immediately and asked why I had lost it, and he replied with how I had not done any "Server managing" despite being a server manager. So, with a little bit of begging I received it back, but it was short-lived as I still did nothing and quickly lost my status again.

     

    So, basically, that's the story of how I got SM from @NinJa, and then lost it. I never really used my opportunity to show that I could work well as a server manager, but I am easily capable of doing so, despite Lossy's concrete mindset that I am useless when it comes to servers.

    I do have my zone directory(without the mod.ff file), and yup i have no bin directory :3

    So... I have to redownload one that has them? To make my mod.ff file.

    It is literally impossible to have no bin folder and have the mod tools. Stock CoD4 does not even have a bin folder, you get the bin folder when you install the Mod Tools ya dingus. You have CoD4 installed, but you DO NOT HAVE THE MOD TOOLS INSTALLED. Get the link from above, and extract those files into your CoD4 directory. Then run the MakeMod.bat file. That error log you posted above even says that it "could not open" the file because it does not even exist. Extract the mod tools and then run it.

    Considering you've never actually seen an example of my work at all there's no reason for you not to think that way and I don't disagree with you. I had my chance earlier and blew it, so I'm asking for another. I've received nothing but criticism from you higher-ups and yet you judge me for work that I haven't even done yet. Apparently I'm a scrub just because I haven't setup raid in it's entirety.

    What makes you a good admin?
    Contrary to popular belief, I don't abuse my powers. I do, however, tend to be a little more strict and hand out longer punishments, but in my eyes that will help prevent repeat offenders, since the punishment is greater. I've been an moderator at #Afterlife on their servers, managed my own clan @ |FISH| Gaming, and worked here @ Raid for a while until real life became too much for me to manage both. However, this isn't an application for Admin, this is an application for me to be reinstated as a Server Manager. I've been able to setup CS:GO servers on both my personal dedi I use for testing on ubuntu, as well as FISH servers. I've succeeded in managing multiple CoD4 servers, Teamspeak servers, minecraft servers, CS:GO servers, all through ubuntu, both command line and GUI-based. I have just recently graduated from high school and that will give me a lot more time to work on the server-side of things here, which I was unable to do earlier, despite given multiple opportunities. 


    What skills do you have?: 
    I am decent at video editing, not great though, but yet again I'm not sure how that could help with managing a server. As stated in the previous paragraph, I know the infrastructures of multiple different servers, and all of the ones that Raid currently runs. I know how to manage those and set those up, setup rotations, edit things, the works. CS:GO I'm still learning, but I know my way through srcds quite well. I also can manage it all through command line, which I"ve recently learned as well. Many people can only use a GUI, like I could a while ago, but I forced myself to use SSH instead. I can also code in Java, HTML, and I can do some basic C as well, if need be. So I can help with forum stuff, if needed, but looks like Mikey has that under control.

    What clans/communities/forums have you been at?: Raid, |FISH|, Afterlife, BraXi.org way back then. I think that's all.

    Why should we choose you?:
    I have the experience needed to do the job, as well as the time available in order for me to actually do it this time. I miss my purple, this light green hurts my eyes. ;__; I'm proficient in ubuntu as well as servers, and can help take the load off of the current few of you that actually remain active on the server-side of things.

    The logic here is ridiculous, sure the i5 is plenty, but odds are you're limiting your GPU's because your CPU can't handle that many PCIe lanes. Both GPU's have 16x lanes, no? So that's 32 lanes. So in order for your GPU's to run at full speed at 16x both, your CPU needs to have more than 32 lanes capable. And that CPU can only handle 1x16,2x8,1x8/2x4. So you're actually bottlenecking your GPU's from getting the full performance out of them. But yet again with 2 780's, even at partial speed you can run today's games at full settings, so there's no big deal here. I just like to rant about stuff. :dave:

    I believe CSGO is the most CPU intensive game due to being a console port compared to other source games, but there is some games made on the source engine that are more GPU intensive than CPU.

     

    Mainly decides what dx it supports(specially if it uses dx9 the most) and whether or not it's a console port.

    What do you mean by CSGO being a console port? CS has been a series on PC for 15 years and will always be primarily a PC game. 

     

    I"m also not denying the fact that CS:GO is more CPU intensive than GPU, I honestly haven't done the research + I have a good enough processor and GPU to run it at 300+ fps anyways, so I couldn't tell you. CS:GO uses dx9, as do most, if not all Source Engine games. And DX9 is pretty outdated, and most old cards can handle DX9 and the rendering capabilities of Source just fine.

     

     

    Anyways, as Zack has been saying, I'm done with the PC rant, because honestly I don't really know about whether this game is CPU or GPU based.

    Not necessarily. It's more of the fact that CS:GO runs on the Source Engine, which is really not GPU intensive at all, and is meant to be able to run on lower-end machines. 

     

    There's your problem.

    The problem isn't with laptops in general, it's within the graphics chip in the laptop. For example, newer laptops have 2 GTX 970M's and run today's games @ ultra at 60+ FPS. But older laptops, such as mine, with HD 5730Ms, can struggle. It's just outdated hardware.

    Nothing, since if you use BraXi's logic here, the "square" is made up of two triangles, with the 5th "edge" going between the two corners of the square. It's the same with the triangle being made up of two smaller right-triangles. So two triangles - two triangles = 0? I can add pictures if my description sucks too much.
