  1. One day in the s******** jacuzzi, I farted heavily and the bubbles grew like a cow in labor.
    I wondered why my d*** spontaneously started to attack like a crazy hungry meowing p****.

    Anyways, I like the idea of the map. We never had snow-themed map. (What we could do... Is changing maps to snow-themed maps, so maps like eh mp_dr_pyramid become mp_dr_snow_pyramid ;P :dave:

    Trap 1: Falling Icicles from the ceiling.
     
    Trap 2: Slippery Floor of some sort.
     
    Trap 3: Avalanche
     
    Trap 4: Penguins with AK-47's try to shoot you
     
    Trap 5: Snowballs are hurled at you by catapults/Cannons
     
    Trap 6: You jump on glaciers and they melt from under you.
     
    Trap 7: Giant-Ass Snowball rolls towards you. (*Gets bigger as it goes*)
     
    Trap 8: A bob-sled type thing. You control a sled, steer it though a passageway. (Acti trys crushing you)
     
    Trap 9: Icy-Trees fall over and crush you
     
    Trap 10: You must cross a very icy bridge. The activator needs to activate it, to make the bridge collapse from explosions.
     
    Trap 11: You fall though a icy river, and freeze yourself to death.
     
    Trap 12: Heat-Lasers are activated, and have to be controlled by the activator to kill you, the jumper must dodge it.

  4. What's up guys, just decided to make a thread on this, to get multiple suggestions from everybody. I've been working on this map on and off for about a year. The map is about 60% finished, only because I plan on redoing most of the traps to be unique, and fun. The endrooms include: Bounce, Sniper, Race, Surf, Bumper Car, Random, Tag, and Assault. I've been told it looks a bit like the map Terror, because of the texture scheme. It plays different then terror, so you know. There is 4 sections in the map, from Pink, to Blue, to Red, to Yellow. Green is the ending. Like I said, i'm looking for ideas and criticism, I don't want to hear any bullshit like, "wow a floating map, stop mapping idiot." It's my map, get over it, it's supposed to be the way it is. Here are some screenshots:

    I wouldn't call it a "bad" map. Just, I wouldn't of released it especially if it is your first map for deathrun. That should always be your practice, unreleased map. Anyways, he's in the styx community with me, and I can't wait for your new map man! I've seen you on Raid Teamspeak a few times this week. Welcome man!

    What? May I ask what a "Beatthat's Degale" is? If you mean the Desert Eagle from the map destiny, in which Beatthat created, that is already in the ViP menu. As Lossy/Darmuh has said before, changes are being made shortly to the ViP Menu. I also don't understand what you're on about when you say, "Master ViP." I'm guessing you're just spamming for your 10th post, which congrats! You did it! Or that's the kind of ViP you expect to have extra lifes, super speed, weapons, etc, that give you advantages against other players/activators? That is not what Raid is about. That's actually the opposite. Lossy has worked really hard to provide the Raid Community with a great vip menu/system, with only fun things, such as the chicken, with no advantages. Raid isn't like some shitty-ass server that has a duffman vip menu loaded with random junk such as roll the dice, and speed.

  10. Don't worry about them calling it a bad map, everyone's first map isn't great! Just keep at it and try to take into consideration what people are saying; try to make the brushes connected to something so they would actually be able to exist in real life, maybe at a few more textures and decals to add to the detail!

    Don't give up on mapping just because a few people don't like it, just keep moving forward always trying to improve upon yourself, best of luck in completing the map!

    I agree with Sentrex, don't worry about Braxfag, she's just trying to make you feel bad :troll: But in all honestly, I understand it is your first map, that's okay though! Every mapper has to start somewhere man! To be honest, it looks better then my first map :P But keep working on it, I always like seeing new mappers, and seeing them progress. As you grow in skills as a mapper, you will learn more, such as more details, and bigger, and better ideas. Keep growing on it, i'd like to see good things as you practice :)
