I dont know honestly, kinda looks like they used ghosts as a base for this game, therefore probably running and feeling like shit on pc, bloom effect is too much, gun sounds are terrible and i don't like the sniper zoom in. Rest looks fine especially the menus. Definetly not worth paying 80+ bucks for whatever IW version includes cod4 in my opinion, mainly because i for sure as hell won't play infinite warfare multiplayer. It looks like a mix between ghosts and bo3. I mean even the movement is the same and the HUD looks like a total bo3 ripoff too. Singleplayer looks nice though.

I have a blackwidow stealth since like christmas 2014, not dissapointed. It cost 130€ back then. The Ultimate 2014 costs 160€ for some reason and the Ultimate 2016 130€. I think I have the 2013 one. Never had any problems with it. I mean I poured my drink over it for like the 3rd time now and the worst thing that happened was that it didn't work until it was dried.

It was such a long time ago I can't remember if it was you that did so much for the Combined Ops Server that Raid had, but if so: thank you so much for the endless hours of fun I had on that server, even if it was against bots :D

Wasn't me :) I only did stuff for deathrun and for the fun server, always wanted to make raid's own combined ops mod and let the community decide what weapons to put in, but sadly never got to it.

I know, I know.. I should've made this topic alot sooner, but i always thought I'd somehow get more interest in cod4 ( or gaming in general for that matter ) again, but I sadly don't have as much time as I used to 1 year ago. Everyone that was in Raid back in 2013 when i joined has left the admin team and a few of them are hardly online anymore, which also let me to the decision that it's best to resign now. Troll resigning as a community manager also kinda reminded of how useless Iam for this community since almost a year now, I mean I didn't even join a server in like 6 months or so. But I just don't feel like sitting infront of my pc all day long anymore, I wanna do more stuff with friends,concentrate on school and on my job over the summer right now. And when I'm on my pc I usually just go and watch youtube videos and maybe play 1 round of csgo if I feel like it.

 

Doubt BO3 modtools will get me back to being more active at this point.

 

Wanted to thank everyone for the wonderful time here in raid, it has been great while it lasted!

bet it's just a 1080p port to consoles. If they actually remaster it on their new engine without adding a bunch of useless crap then i might consider buying it

Mod tools are being released soon as a closed invite only beta :'( from what I've been reading in to a while back. Meaning that you have to be invited by them only in order to get it. Also, we don't know what the mod tools will include and whether or not community hosted dedicated servers will be rolling out with them. All we have confirmed so far (as far as I am aware) is that mod tools will be released around March in a closed beta, and that "some time in the future" they are moving to "dedicated servers" instead of peer-to-peer. unfortunately they have worded things really precisely again so they give out as little information as possible. Because of the way they've worded it, we can only assume what they mean by what they say.

 

In my OPINION I don't think they'll be giving out full mod tools or even the ability to have community hosted servers due to their wording and secretive behaviour on it. And if they do, it'll probably be a long time in the future. Again, this doesn't mean that they won't, it's just my opinion.

 

They said unranked dedis are coming with modtools, they never said that they'll replace p2p with community hosted servers. Anyway pcdev said that a blog post regarding modtools will be out very soon, so I guess we'll have to wait and see. Either way, it doesn't really change the fact that there isn't really a big point in making a new 'community' mod since I highly doubt that alot of people will play it, mainly because cod4 doesn't have alot of players anymore and I don't think the number will rise anytime soon.
