Sub? what you mean sub? :P does it use the same jack as your headphones? if so make sure your jack isn't dirty or there something else connected/touching it.

Make sure you haven't knocked any wires out, sounds like a electricity problem. Try testing with speakers that uses one of the jacks or something else. EDIT: Try muting your mic, making sure sound drivers are up-to date, mute computer sounds(not headphones) etc... as well.

if you got a phone next to your computer, try moving it away :dave: P.S is it a constant sound?

you clearly haven't played them games then. Specially gmod, gmod is probably worse imo, you get admin abusers, more ddosers, people infecting servers with viruses coded in "lua", people screaming down their mic, going on random mods like TTT and playing it like TDM etc... same happens on cs series(well not all the things) but just not as much compared to gmod and yet they still manage to play deathrun properly majority of the time :dumb: So if you want to compare something more "mature" use a better choice of game
