  1. After 2 years in the making, I'm finally releasing my first fully finished map. What started as a concept between Headdy and I is now a thing, and it's now on the server for everybody to play. The original map is here if you want to compare it. I've changed a couple things and changed a trap or two, if you want to see what's new, jump into the game and play it! The map has around 18 traps, 4 different endrooms, 3 different 1v1 rooms (from the original map) and a couple of secrets. Hey, maybe the steps from css map are the same on this map.. who knows? I know I already went through the credits but one last big thanks to @MiKeY for helping me so incredibly much, you're amazing :3 Extra Credits- Thanks to @Sheep_Wizard for the idea of having the timemachine as the endroom picker, and to @Anti too for suggesting the brain bounce room. I'm always trying to help people get levels back, helping them learn to play thus making me a really nice person. Know matter how mad I get at other people for smack talking I always am keeping my cool. I'm talking to friends trying to make them not bored, I'm on for about 4 hours everyday making sure everyone is having fun, including me I've been trying to not push myself into admin and have waited for this moment to come! What skills do you have?: I can record for Raid Deathrun, Raid Fun, Etc. Thus making it more popular, I can assist anyone in need of help also warning spammers, banning hackers, and trying to find/fix bugs. I believe I can improve the Raid community by a lot. What clans/communities/forums have you been at?: I have been in sk clan before coming to Raid Why should we choose you?: Because I believe I am a trust worthy admin not trying to stalk, harm anybody on any servers, I'm also not a rude person at all when it comes to talking to me I'm actually a really nice guy once u get to meet me, disregarding my age I think u guys should choose me.

Hello - haven't been around for almost a year Anyway i used to map a year ago but i stopped and my latest work was on a map called mp_dr_castle although i suck at mapping u judge The map is finished but got some glitches didn't have the time ...   6. Should have all of raid servers in your favourites, useful if the master server is down. Download this file - http://lossy.raid-gaming.net/downloads/servercache.dat If you're using the CoD4X1.8 patch go to C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\CallofDuty4MW then drag and drop the file there. Stock CoD4 users go to where you're cod4 is installed and drop the file there If you don't want your favourites to be over-written/lost set the file to read only. Hi ok so ive made an admin menu for my deathrun mod works perfect but now I want only admins to be able to view it ive created a little script that binds a key to open the menu and it does work and then I went into the _menus file to add my menu and to add the code to protect it fron non admins ive now spent a couple hourse trying to figure out how to do it and I just can and I dont really have alot of time to search forever for it so here is what I have done: , , But every time I try it, it goes to the else function so I don't know where my error lies and if I put player getGUID() is says uninitialized variable 'player' so maybe its that I don't know Thanks

Hi ok so ive been working on a dr mod recently and ive added lots of stuff to it but now I tried to increase the max ranks from 30 to 40 for now I want to go to 50 but using 40 to test ok so here is what my ranktable looks like and my rank icon table if u see any errors pls point them out as I dnt know all that much about this stuff ivr taught myself everything I know coz nobody else ever had time so there might be errors, and yes I did add all the DRRANK_# strings to the DRRANK.str file Ranktable.csv rankicontable.csv I went into asset manager created new materials for the rankicon images from 30 up to 39 and just replaced the others up to 29 and they work perfectly I selected the image to be 2d and my images are in dds format and in a subdirectory of my mod they converted successfully and I have copied everything to both raw and my mod directory then I also added extra custom weapons to my mod along with a second page to the weapons menu under customization and it works perfectly the weapon unlock levels I specified to above 30 do unlock when I reach those levels I use the giverankxp function to just level myself up but then in the scoreboard it dsnt show the rank number or icon above 30 here is a screenshot; currently level 33 or 34: the M93 works and its unlock level is 32:
  10. Heya! I had this idea of doing a weekend map with someone. I asked Phelix if he would be the right man to it. He wanted to try it with me, but we started it at Tuesday :P . Now we've been doing it for week and half, when we have had time. The mapping part is done and now what's left is scripting, adding some lights and adding fx. We asked ourselves what should the theme be? I went to google and searched for pattern. I found circular pic and thought about circular map, then it somehow ended up being in a abandoned carpark :lol: Phelix made the style for the map by making the first trap area, and I made the rest. Phelix is starting to script it, because he's pro and I'm noob at scripting xD. I feel like I'm in love with the detailed maps :wub: .   13. I dont know if this is already reported or not. But the custom colt m1911 has no melee animations and does only 30 dmg when you knife someone with it. Also when you ADS and walk at the same time, the 3rd person animation is bugged(same issue as the colt44). -Speedex

  18. So some of you keep nagging me about the death run server update. So here some things to clear up. Firstly it's not going to be called Death Run 1.2 or Death run 1.3, it uses scripts from both versions as well as our own, but it will be called Raid Death Run. When will the update be out? Well at the moment some things aren't going how i expected to them to go which is causing delays day by day, I was hoping to it to be out around christmas week but delay again, then i was hoping it will be out today, but I've countered some problems with the customization menu that I'm trying to work out. I could bring it out now using the 1.1 menu's, but i feel it won't fit our menu design and look totally crap. Why is it called "Raid Death Run"? Simply because this won't be a public version nor will it ever be. What's different in the "Raid Death Run" compared Death run 1.2? Read below but the main update is the menu's, the current Death run 1.2 menu's are kinda buggy/broken for people who has a higher resolution and it didn't really give you much options available and required us to add a Hud element for more stuff. I've simply re-designed every single menu(apart from the options menu and quick messages, they've been tweaked a little bit.) so that they aren't buggy nor broken How can I get VIP or is there VIP? Firstly you can gain VIP by donating raid money, we'll soon give out prices of donation packages once me, darmuh and ninja talk about it. Currently there is a VIP system within the current death run, but we feel as if it's not enough there for us to advertise it that much and because it's unfinished. Hopefully with the new update coming out, we'll be able to introduce more and better stuff, i'll give more information about this later. It's much better compared to the one you get with the source files and it's WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAy less buggy as well. Update 22/01/2013 I've fixed all the last of menu bugs and problems now, so they're like 95% done. I've also just finished off sorting out the new VIP stuff with the new VIP menu to make them work and work for VIPS only, now i just need to make the buttoms work as they're meant too. If you have any ideas of what else the VIPS should get feel free to post but not anything OP please. Hello all, recently i decided to get back into mapping, after about a year of not doing anything except testing, last map was dawn, but i didn't even make it that i just fixed it, so technically this would be my first map however I've had that many projects that i simply given up on i never PHYSICALLY finished a map, since i just generally lose the effort and give up for reasons like: 1. i can't be bothered | 2. Effort and 3. Boring, so hopefully this is a step in the right direction. Anyway onto the map: (I didn't compile reflections, because i can't) If you see familiar models, then this is because i have exported models from BO2, AW and BO1, since it might of made the map a little nicer Feel free to leave opinions on whether i should continue this project or not, since i literally want feedback heh (WHAT SHOULD I DO BETTER? | WHAT IMPROVEMENTS SHOULD BE MADE? ) Thank you - Triton

  23. OKAY GUYS. Listen up, I know a lot of us (including myself have been losing your ranks on many different servers because of an error along the lines of "Unable to obtain stats data, your stats have been reset" and other errors. WELL TODAY I AM GOING TO TEACH YOU HOW TO PREVENT IT. (This works for every rank reset.) Okay, so you know how you get to a really high level on deathrun, or zombies or even stock? Well there is a file saved locally in to your cod4 folders that actually has your level on it. This file is called "mpdata" and I will teach you how to restore your old one. STEP 1. Navigate to your cod4 root directory. Don't worry if you don't have all the same folders as me, this is because I have the mod tools installed. STEP 2. Depending on what gamemode you are trying to save from losing your rank. Navigate to that place. DON'T WORRY IF YOU SEE AN "mpdata.corrupt" just ignore it and carry on to step 3. STEP 3. After you finish playing, I advise you to BACK UP this file by copying and pasting it elsewhere outside of your cod4 folder where you will be able to find it should anything happen to your rank. For example, if you are rank 68 (or any level, it's up to you) on Raid-gaming deathrun, you will want to make a copy of your mpdata just in case something goes wrong. Because of backing up this file, if you then lost your rank, all you have to do is find the back up that you have created and copypaste it back to where you backed it up from. HOWEVER, DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT, attempt to put mpdata from one mod in to another thinking it will make you the same rank on that server, this will completely screw over your rank and you could be reset. So in summary, locate the mod you want to back up in your profile name folder, open the mod folder and copypaste the mpdata to somewhere outside your cod4. A smart thing to do would be to create a folder somewhere outside of cod4 with the name of the mod, so you know which mod the mpdata inside is for. If you then lose your rank, all you have to do is copypaste this mpdata back in to your profile/mods/modname. THIS WILL SAVE YOU AND THE ADMINS OF RAID A LOT OF TIME AND YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO WAIT TO RESTORE YOUR RANK, IT IS DIY. PS. BACK THIS UP OFTEN, IF YOU GAIN A RANK AFTER BACKING UP THIS FILE, YOUR OLD RANK WILL STILL BE THE SAVED ONE IN THE BACKUP.

  25. Hallo and Hello people of Raid! Today I'm going to show off a map I started a long time ago which I want to finish when I find the time. I've always loved the rat maps of CSS and CoD4 and I was surprised there's only 1 dr rat map (it's awful though) so I thought I'd make one. It contains CoD WaW textures and I don't know who's going to script it xD Anyway, on to the screenshots: Note that if something looks out of place, it's all WIP and I haven't fully decided one what models/textures/stuff to use and I know the godrays look awful :dave: p.s the lighting looks bad because it was compiled on fast.
