Welp, you could infer that help would be a tutorial about the plugins and the board description is 'Add yo plugins.' so, no I still think this thread is in the entirely wrong place. Lastly, I don't see how the fact that this topic is from 2015 is relates to this.

But there is "Tutorials" section, why would you think [help] is equal to "tutorial"? For some reason you're butthurt with this one particular thread whereas there are more topics asking for help in this plugins category. Nobody really gave a crap untill now over where the question is asked for as long as it's releated to the category (but if question about mapping was posted here, it would be wrong).

Lastly, the topic should be closed due to its age and offtopic.

Infinite Warfare devs also seem hypocrites. In the interview they said that they are old COD fans and loved the old ones and wanted to keep that authentic military feel in the new one.... their game looks like the exact opposite considering the trailer.

BF:Hardline didn't sell well and people wanted a game set during WW2 - they got even better as WW1 was not used in AAA games and people love it's "freshness". Assasins Creed was released every year just like CoD, it was a disaster and didn't sell well - it's now back at the drawing board and devs got one more year to work on upcomming game.

Since I get asked quite a few too often for loads of things about CoD4 and my mods, this is the thread I anwser for most commonly asked questions.

• There's DeathRun 2.0 I made, it breaks compatibility with previous DR versions, plugins and maps, it's more polished to fit my gamedev portfolio and changes gameplay by a quite a lot.
• CoD4 has vehicles in MP, you can spawn one by adding script_vehicle entity to your map with vehicleinfo: humvee_50cal_mp but it's only partially implemented (vehs can be only 4wheeled and only 3 seats are in (driver, passenger and gunner). I wrote CoD4X17 code that fixes quite a few bugs releated to them (no GSC can fix them). One of the issues you'll face with them's that each script_vehicle entity will be spawned as script_vehicle_mp but unfortunatley script functions require entity to be script_vehicle (shows that vehicles in MP were directly ported from SP and abandoned early).
• I do not plan to make any new mods at all for CoD4/WaW
• I will not be making any new maps for CoD4/WaW

Glad you like my mod, but keep in mind I was making it in free time for more than a year nd I'd be working on it for longer if community respected my and others work and game was supported by devs (I hate to see my mod rebranded and stolen on some servers), it's pointless to spend hundreds of hours on modding if just a few people are going to play it

ps. there's DR 2.0 which I made months ago for my portfolio but _at least for now_ I see no option to release it.

There's not much left of the "IW" we knew in 2007, even Respawn (ex IW employers and founders) shown us a middle finger with Titanfall, and it used Source engine so there was no real excuse of not releasing tools other than milking customers with DLCs.

it's not impossible to game on it, racing games are pretty fine on 13" and i assume RTS too, but playing FPS hurts and I prefeer using my 24" screen for that :dave:
