  1. My advice is that whatever PC you build, definitely save some bucks for a descent SSD on which you install your OS (and just the demanding software/games) to have a good performance boost on them. Your PC will perform better overall and things will open much quicker!

P.S. Beatthat's build is very a nice one, and do use PC Part Picker because it will make the whole decision process a lot easier :)

  2. So guys, I recently reinstalled cod4 and then faced problems with getting pb to update for the game.

I found the Legacy setup that had the option for cod4 in it, but apparently now it isn't possible to install it from them too because evenbalance makes the legacy setup auto update to the newest one.

So after a little bit of googling and stuff, I figured out the solution which worked for me :)

I think I should definitely share it with the community, here are the instructions:

    1. First of all, download the required files:
      cod4_win32.zip
      Mirror 1: http://www.mediafire.com/download/eoemdfpa4lfdaoa/cod4_win32.zip
      Mirror 2: http://ge.tt/26eXZHw1/v/0

      pbsetuplegacy-modified.zip
      Mirror 1: http://www.mediafire.com/download/4rm8t2131b9t93h/pbsetuplegacy-modified.zip
      Mirror 2: http://ge.tt/6vzwhHw1/v/0

    2. Now extract both files into seperate folders

    3. Copy the contents of cod4_win32 inside the pb folder:
      ...Call of Duty 4\pb\

    4. Now go to the folder pbsetuplegacy-modified you created in step 2

    5. Execute pbsetup.exe and use it to update punkbuster for Call of Duty 4 (there is an image Howto.gif inside which also demonstrates the setup process)

If it doesn't show CoD4 in the games list:
Every time you close pbsetup.exe , it will be updated to the latest version (which we don't want!)

    So delete pbgame.htm

    make a copy of pbgame.htm.backup

rename it to pbsetup.htm and then try using pbsetup.exe again.

If this is confusing, just extract the original pbsetuplegacy-modified.zip again which you did in step 2.

Hope this works for everyone :)

  3. You can't go on about saving just one animal/bird you like.

    Lets make this technical.

According to research, plants too have feelings, they only can't express their feelings so people think it is completely fine to cut and eat them.

Additionally, many plants can communicate with each other and pass messages, such as warning about oncoming danger. Look it up.

So, should we also stop eating plants? We humans are also nothing but, just an intelligent animal, and to survive we must consume anything that is available to us - which is mostly in the form of other living organisms.

Hope this clears up all doubts :P

  4. 2011: I got the first GPU of my life - AMD Radeon 6670 HD

Curious to play all the good games I wanted, quickly torrented all those popular games: GTA IV, GTA TBOGT, GTA TLAD , Assassins creed series, Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands, NFS The Run, etc and finished them all.

Then there was this hype about the release of CoD MW3, so torrented it as soon as it launched. Finished it. Tried the multiplayer option, didn't work (because no mp crack available just after release).

Frustrated because I wanted my hands on call of duty style multiplayer - thought that CoD4 is relatively old and must have been cracked already. Torrented, finished the campaign, found a guide on making multiplayer work.

Shit, it worked. Fragged like a noob on big 64 player servers (with all default settings, cfg, fps 60 and field of view 65 D:)

Carried on like this whole year

2012: Got pb to work - learnt about cfg stuff and mods - my lil brother tried this game and randomly joined a deathrun server playing on map apocalypse - mfw.
